A Beginner’s Guide to EFLU:
Things that they don’t tell you during the admissions
 Even if you don’t have all your certificates, you can take admission after asking the
authorities for some extra time.
 Be ready for some delay in getting rooms in our hostels (especially men’s). Do raise
your voice if you don’t get the rooms in time.
 For broadband, you have to buy cables and sometimes a router. It’s a onetime
investment of around Rs. 500 (Much lesser if you are ready to share)
 Before you run to big bazaar to buy your supplies know that you’ll get things much
cheaper in other stores. (Mattresses and pillows are much cheaper and better
outside trust me)
 You can get second-hand stuff from your seniors (Mattresses and pillows may cost
nothing  )
 The only mobile service provider with full range in the campus is Airtel. BSNL and
Idea do work, but not everywhere. (No, I do not get paid by Airtel for this.) New
mobile connections can be taken and activated from Sagar Stores inside the campus
 Autos are available in front of our main gate. (Do Bargain. It can go as low as Rs. 60
to Secunderabad) Share autos are available at Seethaphalmandi Junction towards
Secunderabad and vice versa (Rs. 8)
 Instead of buying water from private providers, free and pure water is provided by
the university near Akkamahadevi Hostel. (Ask for the Manjeera tank and thou shalt
be answered)
 Once you are a student of EFLU, you will get free medical services. Go to the Health
Centre near Mahalqa Bai Chanda Hostel for details
 We have three parks inside the campus, one near the staff quarters, one near Gate
Number One, and another near Gate number 3
