Project Guidelines: 1-Two themes: choose either of the two Research-flavor: Find interesting
methods/algorithms in a data management paper in the designated conferences/journals on or
after 2012, Implementation-flavor: Find an interesting and effective application solution let
include database using relational or non-relational database model. 3- Each group has the
flexibility to develop the detailed project description and requirements without any approval
from my side. 4- Avoid using others source code from the internet as it is if you choose the
Implementation-flavor. Delivering others source code without any effort from your side will
result in a grade of zero. 5- It is a teamwork, so you should discuss it internally. I will not be part
of your internal management at any stage of the project. I will be waiting your final deliverables
for assessment. 6- You should present your project during the last lecture in the course (5 th
April). The project presentation should be done by the whole team. Each team should manage
the presentation internally. 7- The deadline to submit the project deliverables is 4 th April. 8- The
project deliverables include: a. Research-flavor: Word document summarizing the research
papers including the methodology and results presented. b. Implementation-flavor: Word
document describes the project topic and motivation. ZIP file contains the project source code.
