2. My final product clearly shows more
conventions then my preliminary
product, starting with my masthead
‘JHEEZ’ is more memorable as its a
slang word used with many
teenagers were as ‘SFCS’ has no
importance to my core audience
therefore it wouldn’t be very
memorable.
My cover lines on my preliminary
product crosses onto my main
image giving the image less of an
impact, however on my final product it shows that the main image is the
greatest attraction being in the centre of the cover and also giving the illusion of
the image jumping out.
The colour scheme is a purple on m preliminary task which is fine as its a bold
colour but the sizes of each are different and not the same .
The price of my magazine in my latest magazine is clearly stated at the bottom
of the page above the barcode which is also visible to see where as on my
preliminary product there is no price given again not following the codes and
conventions of what I researched.
3. For my contents page the word ‘contents’ on my school
magazine doesn’t follow the colour scheme as its purple and
black and the word contents is in a dark blue this could be
argued that this is like this as it stands out. My background is
black on my music magazine this fits as it follows my colour
scheme.
4. I believe I have learnt an awful lot about the different
technologies in creating a magazine also the time it takes to
create a magazine. Using the hardware and software has
enhanced my skills and I believe my final product is an
improvement to my preliminary product. I’ve enjoyed every
aspect in making my final product.
