• King Redrought- Thirrins father the king of the Icemark.
• Thirrin Freer- Daughter of King Redrought and Princess of the
Icemark.
• Oskan Witches Son- The son of a witch healer who befriends Thirrin
after taking care of one of her soldiers wounds.
• Scipio Bellorum- Crazy yet brilliant Polypontian general who has
never lost a battle.
• King Grishmak- Werewolf king.
• King and Queen Vampires- Selfish vampire rulers.
• Holly King and Oak King- The kings of the forest who have forest
soldiers.
• Tharaman-Thar- One hundredth Thar of the Leopard kingdom.
3. Beginning
• The Icemark is a small country in the far north that borders both the lands
of the Werewolves and the Vampires.
• The Polypontian Empire is a massive country south of the Icemark.
• The Polypontians are lead by a mad man by the name of Scipio Bellorum.
Scipio is one of the most birlliant generals alive. He has never lost a battle
and has conquered most of the known world. Now he sets his sights on
the tiny kingdom of the Icemark.
• Thirrin Freer realizes that they cannot win with out allies. When her father
goes out to meet the Polypontians in the field Thirrin sets out to make
alliances with the Vampires and the Werewolfs.
• In the first battle of the book King Redrought and his entire army are killed
but they took out the entire Polypontian Vanguard force.
4. Middle
• Thirrin succeeds in gaining the alliance of both the vampires and
the Werewolves. She also made two new unsuspected allies.
Leopards who lived in the extreme north and the Holly and Oak
King of the forests.
• The ghosts of the capital city of the Icemark scared or killed all of
the Polypontian soldiers stationed there so Thirrin and her army of
humans and leopards march in unapposed. They spend the spring
months there training and waiting for the inevitable attack from
Scipio.
• It will be a long time before the Werewolves will be able to muster
there army and the Vampires are an unreliable ally.
• Scipio finally makes it to the Icemarks capital city and the
Werewolves have still not been able to muster there army and the
Vampires have still not arrived.
5. End
• The men of the Icemark and the Leopards fight brilliantly and
are able to hold off the Polypontians for over a week yet there
numbers are dwindling and the Polypontians continue to
receive reinforcements from there provinces.
• Scipio launches his major attack on a night of a full moon. Just
as everything seems to be lost the Vampires, Werewolves,
and Zombies (The zombies are controlled by the vampires)
come to the rescue and destroy Scipio Bellorums army.
• Though Scipio Bellorum himself escapes capture his entire
army is defeated and the Icemark is saved for the time being.
6. Stuart Hill
• Was born and still lives in Leicester, England.
• Inspiration for his character Thirrin Freer was
his sister who died of Leukemia when he was
a teenager.
• Has written three books total. Cry of the
Icemark, Blade of Fire, and Last Battle of the
Icemark.
