2. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
A DMBA Alumni program started in 2010 and has operated as an alumni-run volunteer initiative. This month, we are
thrilled to launch the next phase - the DMBA Alumni Association!
There are handful of details that are still in progress and to be formalized in the coming year, the first step in galvanizing
our alumni is committing to a dedicated DMBA Alumni Hub.
Alumni volunteers have collected feedback from alumni and student groups and investigated a number of platforms.
Almabase will be the technology platform that powers our DMBA Alumni Hub and has the feature set and room to grow
that meets all our needs as the Association grows.
In this deck, we’ve outlined the Alumni’s charter, provided a breakdown of Almabase features, and outlined our finances
- we’ll need your support to kick off the Alumni Hub and our Association efforts.
Today, both the DMBA Program and CCA Alumni acknowledge and support this Alumni effort, but unable to financially
support this initiative. For our first year, we will need to raise our funding independently through a kickstarting effort
starting at $50/year available to all DMBA alumni and students.
Fundraising and early access to our Alumni Hub is found at dmba.almabase-beta.com/
4. DMBA ALUMNI OBJECTIVES
Create a professional community of DMBA and Fellows Program alumni that are joined together in the
shared mission of creating a world of business that is profitable, sustainable, ethical and truly meaningful.
Our main objectives are to:
● Foster an active, continuous, and collaborative learning environment for alumni that equips us with
the most powerful and relevant knowledge and tools as we apply our DMBA skills in the
professional environment.
● Actively engage the community inside CCA and in the larger design and business communities in
our shared mission.
● Promote the value and mission of the DMBA & Fellows programs to the business, design, and
social impact communities.
● Support current students and growing alumni in networking and professional development.
5. OUR MISSION, VISION, AND VALUES
MISSION
The DMBA Alumni Network exists to facilitate a vibrant, active, global network of DMBA alumni of all of the DMBA’s programs.
The DMBA Alumni Network will work to actively engage alumni in both physical and virtual events, as well as work with the DMBA
and CCA administration and current student body to enhance and improve the DMBA educational experience.
VISION
As the DMBA program grows and evolves, the DMBA Alumni Network will grow to a size far beyond the current DMBA student
community. The DMBA Alumni Network will make best use of its membership to:

● Ability to easily update alumni profiles through integration with LinkedIn or Facebook
● Controls to protect alumni information and feature access for active members
● Central hub to post and find jobs and internships
● Space to engage in conversations and add to topics
● Centralized space for DMBA events and related events
● Easy newsletter creation and distribution for important news and updates
● Resource library independent of Moodle for Alumni and other helpful materials
