Arborfield School Survey Results
1. Arborfield School Survey Results.
The communities of Arborfield and Zenon Park conducted a joint survey to all families and
pre-K families with children eligible for enrollment. We thank each of the families for
responding to the survey and participating in the Review process. Based on the survey
results, there are 2 scenarios that meet the minimum enrollment criteria of 80 however
triple graded classrooms are still likely. The remainder of the options will not be pursued
based on the community responses. The process will now be in the hands of the NESD
Board of Directors to review the projected enrollments, student to teacher ratios, and
grades/classroom.
You are encouraged to attend the Notice of Electors Meetings in both communities
(Arborfield March 19th @7pm and Zenon Park March 22 @7pm). Please note that these
meetings are your only chance to voice your concerns. We request strong representation
from the whole community at these meetings to show the decision-makers that Community
really does matter and our schools are important to the survival and growth of our
communities.
Once again, thank you for your participation in the review process.

Please feel free to contact any of our dedicated Board members on the Arborfield School
Viability Committee if you have any further questions or comments. I would like to thank
all of these members for all of their hard work and dedication throughout this whole grueling
process. This has been a project that has been unquestionably handled as a project by
Community and we hope that hard work is noticed by the Board of trustees on March 19th.
Sincerely,
Mike Wassill
