Film openings should intrigue/entice an audience
and make them to want to watch the film. Ending
it on a cliff hanger is a good way to do this.
It should give away some clues to what's going to
happen but not too much.
A good film opening should introduce the film
genre and main characters.
It should have interesting characters and
storyline to hook in the audience.
It should use macro(characters, genre and
narrative introduction) and micro(technical
features) features well.
