Background
• Biannual Members’ and Stakeholders’ Survey
– 2016 -> 80 % interested in contributing data (either infrastructure or
technical business data) to get a better understanding of the Internet
ecosystem in the region
– 2018 -> > 50% expressed an interest in Internet trend and
benchmarking information on:
• Network security and threats (such as routing anomalies, intrusion detection and
security alerts)
• Network infrastructure, topology and usage
• Use of new and specific technologies
• We’ve been exploring ideas in the past four BoF sessions

• Rebuilt and launched a new version in Sep 2018
• New features:
– Comparison amongst different economies
– Visualization of interconnection of ASes (VizAS)
– Web components (You can now easily embed plots
anywhere!)
