1. What have you learnt
about technologies from
the process of constructing
your products?
2. I have learnt how to use technology
to my advantage how it is used to
advertise and generate audience at
no or very little cost. Although the
production of a magazine would
include lots of people doing
different jobs, technological
advances have made it more time
efficient and user friendly to create
a magazine to a high quality
standard and very quickly.
3. I started the construction of my products by
getting a template prepared in photoshop, the
use of layers meant everything could still be
varied.
4. Once I had my template in place, I could take as
many photographs I wanted until I was happy with
the outcome and the overall layout of the three
articles.
5. Nothing was permanent on photoshop, and as you can see, I
changed a lot of the pictures frequently and the titles of the
pages, along with other features constantly throughout my
development. This was made very easy to do with the
technologic advances we have today.
6. As the internet is dominated by social mediums, it was very easy to get
my product on to the internet where it could be viewed and advertised
to people everywhere. This means that for the likes of established
magazine such as Kerrang, they have got a constant flow of free
advertisement because of how it so easy to share things with friends
online because of the convergence we have on our phones.
