This year’s Spirit Fest will be held on September 18th, 2011 on Stevenson’s football field. All of the money raised will go directly to CASA Lake County, a 501(c)(3) organization that advocates for, and assists abused and neglected children.
Last year, our event raised over $22,500 through admissions, food, and business donations. Local businesses have always been critical in providing items for silent auctions, donating food, or simply making a monetary donation. The impact of this generosity has been direct and greatly appreciated by everyone in the Stevenson community. Without your support, our event would not be as successful or beneficial to those in need. We hope we can once again look to the businesses in our community to help rally around such a worthy cause.
Please consider how your business can help us support those children in our community who need it most. In the past, we have received gift cards and other products for a silent auction, donations to sponsor rides or musical performances, and food donations. Others have hosted Spirit Fest benefit days where a percentage of the proceeds earned on a given day go towards our charity. Such events are highly advertised at our school and in the surrounding area. Of course all contributions are welcome and extremely appreciated. As a way of saying thank you, this year a donation value of at least $1000 will put a company’s logo on the back of our 4,000 Spirit Fest shirts. Additionally, a donation value of at least $500 will put a company’s logo on a large, individual sponsor banner to be displayed at the event. Finally, a donation value of at least $250 will put a company’s logo on a large sponsor banner that will feature multiple donors. This is our way of telling the community how your company gave back to those in need.
Thank you for taking the time to reflect on how your company can help a wonderful organization. If you have any questions or wish to donate, please contact me at Hayley.glatter@gmail.com or at 847-525-4967. We hope to hear from you soon!
Best regards,
Hayley Glatter
