1. On November 15th
, 2014 Make-A-Wish Central and
Western North Carolina® held our 5th
annual Walk For
Wishes® (WFW) at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons,
North Carolina. It was a memorable evening for Wish
Kids, families, and community supporters to come
together to grant wishes of children with life-threatening
medical conditions to enrich their lives with hope,
strength, and joy.
The WFW raised over $165,000, ensuring
an additional 27 wishes are granted here
in our local community. Our family and
corporate teams put on many special
events throughout the year to contribute
to the fundraising goal.
Nearly 2,500 participants
attended the event,
making it our largest event
of the year.
Thank you for your continuous help in making our 2014 Walk
for Wishes a night to remember under the Festival of Lights.
