This document summarizes the research process and findings from developing a solution to help children with dry and itchy skin have a more positive daily skincare routine. The researcher conducted interviews with families and a dermatologist to develop user personas and maps of current routines. Ideas for improving the routine, like a "dream ritual" kit with different creative skincare activities, were prototyped and tested. The proposed outcome is a theme-based kit that families can use to build customized skincare rituals and make the routine a more joyful experience. Next steps involve further prototyping, testing, and developing the solution into a digital platform.
