Present Designation : Assistant.Manager (O &M) Lignite Handling System
COMPANY PROFILE:- : - RAJ WEST POWER LTD a subsidiary of
JSW Energy Ltd (O.P. Jindal Group) is power producers having installed
capacity of 8X135 MW =1080 MW Lignite based power plant CFBC Boiler
make DEC, China selling power to State of Rajasthan and Punjab and
Exporting power through 220 & 400kv Line.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- ( From 26 Feb 2010 To Till date)
1. Presently I am looking here operation and maintenance jobs of
Lignite handling plant of having Reversible type Hammer
Crushers(capacity-720TPH), Flip Flop screens and Belt conveyors
system.(Belt width-1600mm),Vibro feeders, D.E /Suppression system
etc.
2. Planning of day to day maintenance as well as shutdown and
breakdown maints.
3. Spares parts and Man power management and control of store
inventory.
(A) Worked with Utility Powertech Limited (A joint venture of REL & NTPC) as
Asstt. Engineer(Mech.) since 1st
June-2000 to 24 th Feb 2010 at 4x110MW
Tanda Thermal Power Station NTPC-Tanda
I am associated with the following activities during above period
(1) OPERATION & MAINTENANCE OF: -
(i) Conveyor Equipments & DE, DS System in Coal Handling Plant
(ii) Coal Unloading System in Coal Handling Plant
(iii) Rake Movement with the help of locomotives in Coal Handling Plant.
(iv) Predictive Maintenance works in Coal Handling Plant.
(v) Housekeeping work in Coal Handling Plant
(vi) Maint. of Turbine Auxiliaries Different jobs in WTP.

3. SKILL ABILITY ACQUIRED DURING JOBS: -
Supervising the preventive maint. job carried out of equipments with checklist and if
deviates, informing our seniors to take corrective action or perusing he works to do the job
according to checklist. Break down jobs are being attended under my supervision with
proper planning and supervision, monitoring till the job is completed. Recourse needed for
attending it partially feeded by the maint. Group and with my communication. Supervising
the operation work of coal unloading, Supervising and supply of manpower for different
jobs carrying out in DM Plant, CHP area, Daily Preventing Maint. of Cleaning of Lube Oil
& various small standby Turbine auxiliaries.
(2) Erection Testing and Commissioning of 230MW combined cycle Power Plant
BSES Andra Power Ltd. at Samalkot (AP) on deputation for 06 months in 2001.
SKILL ABILITY ACQUIRED DURING JOBS: -
Underground pipeline erection of fire line system and Gas pipeline fabrication & erection
work has done under self-Supervision at 230 MW CCPP in Samalkot.
(B) Work with Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. as A.E. (Mech.) since March-1999 to Feb-
2000 for Erection Testing & Commissioning of Ash Handling system, Flushing
tank erection at 2x210MW Thermal Power Station NTPC-Unchahar.
SKILL ABILITY ACQUIRED DURING JOBS: -
Knowledge of welding electrode applied and used, type of joints Radiography of welded
pipes, types of valve provided in ash line.
(C) Work with Rungta Projects Ltd. as A.E. (Mech.) since Sept.-1997 to Feb-1999 for
Erection Testing & Commissioning of Conveyor Equipments in Coal Handling
Plant at 2x210MW Thermal Power Station NTPC-Unchahar.
SKILL ABILITY ACQUIRED DURING JOBS: -
Fabrication of steel structure and conveyor gallery and also erection for both string post
erection along with roller of different type (Impacts, adjusting, trough) of idlers deck plats,
drive and snub pulley erection with the plumer block, bearing fixing and all other related
jobs.
