Speech On Love Begets Love
As a boy I was taught by teachers in grade school, by my priest that "love begets love." This was
also the message when The Beatles sang "And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you
made". So you believe it to be true because the principle is quite straightforward be nice to others
and they'll be nice to you. Simple.
As I grew older however, I realize it is not always the case. It turns out it all depends on the people
you chose to love. There are people who are users who suck you dry for all the love you can give but
are nowhere to be found when you need the love back. Then there are the emotional vampires who
feed on your kindness and goodwill because they need it to boost their depleted egos and
self–esteem. They will love you back but just enough so you'd stay. Again, emotionally you lose.
Then there are the "foxes": The guarded people who will accept whatever love you can give as
long as it doesn't invade their personal space in which case they'll push back sometimes
vehemently lashing out just to tell you to "Stop, stay where you are." So you pull back clueless of
what you did wrong. I call them foxes because they remind me of the fox from the book "The Little
Prince" who keeps the Prince at bay until the fox built up enough trust that the Prince won't hurt him.
Next are "Horta", named after the live stone creatures from Star Trek....show more content...
Instead of planting for the sake of getting flowers, why not plant a seed solely for the sake of
planting. No expectations. No payback. Love not to get love, but love for the sake of loving alone.
In this scenario the users, the vampires, the foxes, and the like won't matter that they are the way
they are because we'll love them anyway. Yes, this kind of loving is most difficult. This kind of
loving will beat you up and is exhausting. However, it's the kind of loving that is most satisfying and
fulfilling. Difficult but not

Essay about Love
Love
Love is difficult to define, difficult to measure, and difficult to understand. Love is what great
writers write about, great singers sing about, and great philosophers ponder. Love is a powerful
emotion, for which there is no wrong definition, for it suits each and every person differently.
Whether love is between family, friends, or lovers, it is an overwhelming emotion that can be
experienced in many different ways.
People experience love for the first time by being part of a family. Family love is demonstrated
through lessons of sacrifice, concern and compassion, from the cradle to the grave. There are many
different levels and conditions of family love. It is the love we cherish between our intermediate
family and our...show more content...
A close–knit loving bond between two people can begin with a friendship. Whether it is a friendship
between two males, two females, or one male and one female, these friendships will develop into
love. In no way is it a romantic love, but this type of love connects and bonds friends. Friends may
move away or friendships may wane, but the love between the two people burns on forever.
Romantic love is a love that not every person will experience. It is a type of love that is not there at
the beginning, but grows within the individual. When one finally finds the love they have been
looking for, one can not imagine life with anybody else. Romantic love is a connection between two
souls that is captured with a feeling that is not only felt within the heart but within their body as
well. I have never been in love with a girl; I can only imagine what it might be like to be in love.
Guessing from my sister's relationship with boys, it seems like a big headache instead of a
wonderful feeling.
To simply write a definition of love is complicated because every person has a different perception of
love. The only way to capture the true meaning of love is to experience the feeling and find out
for oneself, what love is. In our lives and the lives of others, love is evident. Whether it is between
family, friends, or lovers, love is a precious

Love is a very mysterious thing. People can have a love–at–first–sight type of situation or they can
slowly, over time fall for someone. There have always been some meaningful quotes about love.
Such as, "everybody has a soulmate" or "love will lead you to the person you're meant to be with." I
always thought love wasn't real, and that people could never commit their lives to another person.
Love was scary to me because i thought it would make my life worse, when in fact, it made my
life complete. The first time we met, the first date, the first kiss, and the day he proposed are all
signs of what life is. The first time we ever laid eyes on each other was in the small coffee shop. I
remember stepping into the warm building, and the fresh smell of coffee hit me like a bus. Then, I
saw him standing behind the counter, counting the cash register money from that long day. Notably,
He had the most stunning, emerald green eyes with curly, chocolate brown hair that fell against his
perfectly proportioned face, and the most perfect smile that showed his dimples and pearly white
teeth. Soon after, I had felt me starting to blush because of how fastidious I was being. I had
ordered my coffee, and was sixty–three cents short, so he just brushed it off. Before long, he sat
down next to me with his own cup of the delicious, hot liquid. I must have been feeling gregarious
that night because we talked so long, I lost track of time. In that moment, my heart grew with joy
when he asked me

It was dark and cold. We were laying outside on a blanket, looking at the stars naming the
constellations. We had a blanket under and over us as if we were peanut butter and jelly between
two pieces of bread. We were laying in a field of roses and tulips. A mixture of our favorite flowers. I
look over to him to see him staring back at me. " This is beautiful." I say once are eyes have been
locked for a few minutes. "Your not even looking at the stars." He replies "Why would I look at
them when I can look at you." He blushes and turns his eyes back to the stars. I look at him a little
longer then I turn my gaze back to the stars. "Garrett, what are we going to do?" He says. Letting
his words take up the void known as the night sky. "I don't know, but whatever we do we're going
to do it together." He grabs onto my hand and squeezes it tight. I look at him again as he turns his
gaze back to me. I look into his beautiful clover green eyes and start to remember my past. We lay
there for hours, fighting over who is more beautiful and who loves whom more, but at the end we
look one more time into each other's eyes and fear for what the next day will bring. Then we close
our eyes and sleep. I dream. Yes I dream about our past. We met when I was a freshman in

My eyes were filled with tears. My heart was shattered into a million pieces. I laid a bundle of
flowers down at the bed of my one true love. I silently cried as I traced the letters engraved into
the cool stone. Why did I let this happen? I was so excited! It's been years since I've seen my
beautiful flower. And by beautiful flower, I mean my oldest and dearest friend, (y/n). She was by
far the most amazing mobian I've ever met. (Y/n) was shy and got embarrassed easily so her face

Definition Essay About Love
When we talk about love, most people think that love is the high mood, the abundant feeling and
the vigorous event. But, what is the true love? Which kind of love is the one which we really need?
Some people say that love is a feeling which is a natural expression when you meet the opposite sex
with your admiration. Sometimes love is active, but sometimes it is passive. When love comes to
you, you will act like you were the host of love with the capacity to controlling the direction of
your love and guiding it move forward to where you want it to go. Of course, it would be admired
if someone can control his love. But when you are played in a passive role, the last thing you can
do is just obedience. In fact, love is a thing between the two...show more content...
Most Chinese people are not good at speaking and showing their love. In fact, speaking one's love
loudly and lettingthe your lover know that he/she exists in your heart is a preservatives of love.
Love means unconditional love for a person. Love will not last long if you fall in love with a
person on the condition that it is built on a kind of money and wealth. The purer the love is, the
longer the feelings will be maintained.
Love meansexpecting nothing in return. There is a saying that "Fortune favours fools". The true
meaning is to say that a people will always feel happy if he doing thing without a purpose, which is
just like love. Being a fool of love, without expecting any returns from the others, you will always be
happy.
Love means never giving up. Time is the best friend of love. Time will brew the best wine of love.
Not giving up means you can get more time to business your love, and give your love more
possibilities.
Love means the possibility of losing. When you feel that you are going to lose your love, you
must grasp the things you have right now, because you are lucky enough as you once had it. If
love is leaving you, do not be sad, because sometimes whatlove can teach you is just after you lost it.
If you treat every day as the last day of love, you will have a very happy minute and

What is Love? Essay
Love, Love, Love. We all think about it, dream about it, sing about it, and even lose sleep
worrying about it, but why? Love is such a small word paired with a vital meaning. It's universal,
easy to spell, difficult to define, but impossible to live without. When we don't have it, we search
for it, when we find it, we don't know what to do with it, when we have it, we fear losing it. Love is
the constant source of happiness and sorrow. I am young and I haven't a clue as to what love is, let
alone what falling in love is. However, I have my ideas of what love is like. I have never witnessed
the beauty of people falling in love, or the severity of those falling out of love, so what is love?
Love in general could be frightening. Some...show more content...
I think falling in love with someone happens when you least expect it to, when you're too busy
focusing on other aspects of your life. This is where fate comes into play. That specific person
was led to you for some unknown reason. Out of the blues, it's like your knight in shining amour
that you have longed to be with finally found his/her way to you. There are people in this world
that think they may never fall in love again. You fall at times, but you get back up. You will love
again, and you will also trust again. You have to simply let things get themselves done, that's when
you know it's meant to be, because destiny took its course, and while you were too busy doing
something else, the love of your life came along.
Love dates way back to when the world began. In reality, we really have no idea what love truly is.
Raising questions like, is it even real? We watch love movies, read romance novels, but that's the
sugar–coated, sweet and simple version of it. Meeting someone, fall in love, get married, have
kids, spend the rest of your lives together. What about the suffering we have to endure when falling
in love? Risking everything for that one person? And even when we feel we've reached the end of
the road, this person has the power to leave us at any given moment. We put ourselves out there with
the chance they can break us apart.
Love, as it is with everything,

Short Essay About Love
There was an awkward pause and then Victoria said:
"Well I'll let you get on you on your way".
Kiyan nodded as she walked away. The conversation had stunned him. He hadn't even thought of
taking things further with Adelaide. Adelaide with the intense blue eyes, and the sexy smirk of
hers...okay maybe he had. But for now they were just friends and Kiyan was perfectly fine with that.
For now. Adelaide hinted at the idea of a date...but that was just an offhand comment.
Did people who were just friends try to kiss you? Maybe some people did. What was it called
again? A casual relationship. Maybe Adelaide just wanted a casual relationship, someone to kiss
until someone better came along.
The thought made Kiyan angry. He wasn't some toy she...show more content...

"That isn't going to help" he said.
Adelaide was tense but then she relaxed. Was it just his ego or did Kiyan have a calming effect on
Adelaide? Did he have any effect on Adelaide?
"Adelaide, there's something I've been meaning to ask you. It's about something Victoria said. She
basically implied that you were leading me on".
"What? Why would she think that? We're just friends" Adelaide said.
"Are we? Because I've been thinking about how we act around each other and how it might look to
other people" Kiyan started.
Adelaide narrowed her eyes in confusion.
"I don't care about other people. What are you saying?" Adelaide said.
"I really like you but I'm not prepared to be someone you string along until someone better comes

"I don't understand where this is coming from" Adelaide said. "Have I been sending out signals?"
Besides dragging me to your hotel room and practically jumping me? Bringing that up probably
wouldn't help.

“The Lady with the Dog';
“Love'; is defined by the Webster’s dictionary as “a
passionate affection of one person for another.'; The short story “The Lady with the
Dog'; written by Anton Chekhov, is a love story. The story introduces us to the character Dmitri
Gurov. He is a married man who is unfaithful to his wife and who leaves his family for long time
periods in order to vacation. In the midst of one of his vacations in Yalta, his path was crossed with a
young married lady named Anna Sergeyuna who similarly, was vacationing alone. A week after

This same disregard for a spouse with whom you are lacking truly love is also present in the
marriage of Anna. She does not love her husband and subsequently criticizes him as well,
“…but he is a flunkey'; (178).These two situation best illustrate to the reader
a typical case of people who remain in non loving relationships, where one spouse ends up
disrespecting the other, thus demonstrating the importance of terminating such relationships.
In a relationship or marriage, which is deficient of true love, the unhappy spouse is constantly
seeking a means to escape and adventure. This phenomenon is present in the case of Anna, where
she does not love her husband so she feels the need to leave her husband for a period of time and
lie to him in order to do so. In a conversation with Dmitri, she tells him about her desperation to
leave her husband and how it lead her into deceiving him, “I could not be restrained.
I told my husband I was ill, and came here…';(178). When love is true, one wants to be
with their spouse and not feel the need to leave their side, which is the way Anna feels. Similarly
Dmitri, due to his lack of love for his wife felt compelled to desert his wife and consequently seek
adventure. His adventures and happiness were rooted in his affairs, which he perpetually had with
new women. From these two examples we see the ramifications of remaining in a relationship
lacking true love.

Love is a beautiful thing. It makes people happy. It can change a person, and show someone
things that they never knew about themselves. It lifts one up, knowing there is always someone
who will stand by their side through anything. It brings people together, and makes the world a
better place. Some people may disagree; they might think love is just a fantasy. Either way, it is a
fantasy that everyone deserves to dream of and experience in all its glory, whether straight, lesbian,
gay, bisexual, or transgender. However, not all people are so accepting of love when it is not in the
form that they are familiar with, or is not demonstrated in ways that they think are proper. This can

Yes, the legal definition ofmarriage includes that it is between one man and one woman. This
definition is not fair. Marriage should be about powerful love and support, despite the genders of the
two recipients.
Minnesota republican Wheelock Whitney, who ran for governor and senator in past years, wrote an
editorial on his support for gay marriage in the Star Tribune last month. He said: "Gay men and
lesbians are among the most talented people out there. Needless and hurtful laws [banning same–sex
marriage] drive them away. They also drive away innovative people of any sexual orientation who
simply want to live in a place that respects and celebrates the diversity of life." He continued by
saying: "my happiness has never depended on depriving others of their happiness. My marriage
has never needed the exclusion of others from marriage. I am not threatened by seeing others find
love and celebrate it." Gays are normal people just like anyone else, who struggle with their
identities and live in search of success, love, and happiness. Prejudiced laws banning same–sex
marriage needlessly keep these people from natural human desires. No damage is done to society by
letting same–sex couple marry and lead more content, loving lives. If anything, it makes our country
a better, happier place.
While adult non–heterosexuals are regularly discriminated against via their denied access from legal
marriage, those much younger face constant discrimination

What Does The Word Love?
What does the word love mean? I have heard the word love since I was a child, but never really
seemed to learn a definition, love meant something different to everyone. I stopped by Hallmark
store to pick out a happy mother's day card and found myself absorbing all the different types of
cards on love. There were some for mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, friends, just about anyone I
could think of. The content in these cards showed me that true love isn't written in just one form, but
in many messages put together.

What is love? The type of love I'm describing is the one that gives you butterflies when a certain
person comes to mind. Just seeing that particular person can be enough to make one smile and
make your day and all the worries go away. Right now that person comes to mind. It's neither a crush
nor infatuation and many are willing to do anything for this thing that is called love. Love can hurt in
the long run, and people can also be blinded by it. Those who are ready to be loved have to ask
themselves if there are emotionally ready for. Many people put up walls to guard their "heart" from
being hurt again. Love teaches us many lessons. We use those lessons in our future relationships. We

blind. When we're truly in love with the person we see beyond color or it doesn't matter because
that person accepts that person for whom they are. When we love those that a different culture from
us we see beyond those imperfections. It's hard to describe 'love' through the sense. When we

Love through the sense of touch is when they you or putting their arms around you when you are

Much has been said about love, but if you search the horizon, you will discover that most of the
things written about love are either pithy or cynical.
Society in general can be cruel and heartless toward real virtue of any kind. In the most popular
venues, love is seldom dealt with with any degree of sobriety. Modern humor mocks marriage,
husbands and wives, then glorifies every conceivable breech of virtue, such as sexual immorality,
profane and obscene values.
Real love is a mystery to most people. Most people never realize the true potential or value of love,
nor do they learn to practice the art of love. It is usually very poorly defined. People think they are
in love, but they can't explain it. There is a great deal of confusion...show more content...
Romance is different from love, even though ideally, they should occur together. Romance is the
emotional component of love. Romance adds the sparkle in your eyes. Romance adds the perfume
and the colors. Romance embellishes the scenery and swells the music. Romance is the gilding of
love. Romance is gold leaf. It is ornamentation. Romance sometimes becomes a means unto itself. It
even becomes a cheap substitute for love at times. Some people seem to desire the trappings and
embellishments of romance in place of genuine relationships. By comparison, romance is superficial
to love. Romance is skin deep. Love is heart deep. Romance requires things that love does not
require. Romance requires gifs and surprises and lavish attention. Romance sometimes demands
things that contradict love. Romance is offended when the gold leaf wears off. Romance condemns
love that is not eye–pleasing. Romance often injures and denigrates true love because love doesn't
always appeal to romance's selfishness.
Love is for givers, not getters. Those who demand to be loved before they will love shouldn't be
surprised if no one gives them love. Lovers live in a world of giving. The getters, the ones who are
looking for love, is a different world. We have a duty to love, but we have no guarantees that we will
be loved. We have it in our power to love, but we have no power to force others to love us. It is folly
to spend life demanding love from

Essay About A Love Story
Now–
Hani cried into him. This was not to be a love story, or one with a happy ending at all was it? There
was never to be a finality. This would never end. Never. Hani would live forever, just as Lee should
have, but he had given his life to her... his very soul. He would die here in her arms, and she would
be alone. No hope. No love.
Six months ago–
Hani sighed. "It's funny... how I became a vet in hopes to save lives."
He just looked at her curiously. "you saved mine that night." He reminded her.
Hani started spacing out. Lost in thought. Then the flashback came. That night... the memory was
vivid in her mind. She had been heading back to her home in the heavy rain, when she saw him
soaking wet, and bleeding out. The wound in his side was gleaming red in the dim light of dusk in
the rain. Though he had almost no strength left, he pleaded to her not to call an ambulance. His
voice was strained. Any of the ragged breaths he took now could be his last.
Shaking with the effort of dragging him along, she finally brought him to her vet. She lay his limp
body to the floor. She was not licensed to treat another human, but to protect life was the way she
would eventually go. It all came down to this. Every moment was to be made use of. She dashed
into another room, and seconds later darted back out, with all of the necessary medical supplies.
Dropping down to her knees by his side, she pulled his shirt up a little to get a better look at his
wound. It looked like he was stabbed

Descriptive Essay About Love
The Merriam–Webster dictionary defines the word love as, "a feeling of strong or constant affection
for someone." I personally define love as an unconditional feeling and a feeling of absolute bliss.
The five qualities that I believe are the most important in love include dependability, honesty,
selflessness, loyalty, and empathy. Most everyone needs someone that willlove them
unconditionally to help guide them when they are at a low and support them when they are at
their high; for me, that person is my best friend and boyfriend, Ean Isaiah Thomsen. Before my
sophomore year of high school, Ean Thomsen was not necessarily a person that I was fond of.
When we were in our freshmen year, Ean was an immature, obnoxious person, always trying to
get attention. On August 29, 2015, I remember feeling my phone buzz in my denim shorts pocket
and receiving a text message from Ean Thomsen saying, "Happy Birthday Kena!" From there, we
started having random conversations over text and throughout the school days, making me realize
that he had matured exponentially over the summer. We began to date on September 29, 2017,
and I still remember observing the surprised faces of people when the news had spread; we are
currently still together. Ean Thomsen has light brown, silky hair that falls perfectly on his forehead,
not shaggy like a dog, but not extremely short either. His deep, dark chocolate brown eyes could
easily mesmerize you and he has eyelashes that any girl would envy to have.

Definition Essay About Love
Love is difficult to define. The dictionary describes the emotion as an intense feeling of deep
attraction, but what does that mean? The feeling is so complex and unique it would take a million
words to describe. To each person, love can be a different feeling, a different experience, a different
idea. Each person has felt love at least once in a lifetime; the love of something or someone, loving
or being loved. The word "love" is extraordinarily difficult to define because each person
experiences it differently, but it must be experienced to be understood. Emotion is said to be energy
in motion. The emotion "love" is powerful; it drives people to act in profound and unexplainable
ways. All reason can be lost, all logic defied, and what is left is an overwhelming urge to do
something drastic. Love can make people quit their job and fly halfway across the country or risk
their life to run into a burning building. Love's meaning runs deeper than the roots of a dictionary
definition.
Age significantly changes how one views love. The way teens view love is drastically different
from that of an adult with a lifetime of experience. In high school, teens give away "I love you" like
a greeting. Love has no meaning more than "I enjoy you" to them. The use has...show more content...

Music and life are diverse, with soft and soothing lullabies and large and rhapsodic thrillers. But there
is no in between. Love, however, is like a symphony. Constantly rising and falling, exquisitely
unpredictable, but beautiful and unique nonetheless. Dissonant, and yet still comes together to
create something otherworldly. It is rare to witness a kind of love that manages to make one feel
infinite. It is even rarer to have this kind of love last. Although, when people are young, they are
more likely to have diminutive tastes of this love and are bound to advance the prospect of it in the
future. I have been lucky enough to experience this symphony and I hope others are fortunate
enough to encounter this illustrious phenomenon we all call love.

My First Love Essay
Having a first love can change your life for the better in so many ways. My first love did that and

would just get this pulsing rushing feeling throughout my whole body. If someone could actually
give me that feeling I knew they were precious. So, I started to talk to her more and I really felt
this strong connection forming between us. The more we hanged out the more my life became
great. Just being around her and the things, we did I felt my life heading in a direction that was
so perfect. Having that feeling that someone appreciates you was so valuable to me. I started to
see myself through someone else's eyes wondering what I could do to be a better person. That's
exactly what I did. I saw myself being more grateful and understanding. There were also things
I've always wanted to do in my life but I could never do because I was either unhappy or didn't
have someone to do it with therefore with her I was able to do all of it. She really did change my
life for the better and I can't thank her enough. My first love really did make me feel like I wanted
to go out and experience the world like I've never have before. Even something so small like
going skating was huge for me. Our first date we actually, went skating. That night made me
realize even having someone there with you while you do something fun and that you both like
is an experience I will never forget and cherish till this day. I was full of joy and excitement of
how much bonding we were doing. I was never so giving but I caught myself buying everything
that night when I usually wont. We skated for hours trying to impress each other with fancy skate
tricks. She made me feel so different but in a good way. I felt like I would absorb all her likings. She

About Love
At lunch next day there were very nice pies, crayfish, and mutton cutlets; and while we were
eating, Nikanor, the cook, came up to ask what the visitors would like for dinner. He was a man of
medium height, with a puffy face and little eyes; he was close–shaven, and it looked as though his
moustaches had not been shaved, but had been pulled out by the roots. Alehin told us that the
beautiful Pelagea was in love with this cook. As he drank and was of a violent character, she did
not want to marry him, but was willing to live with him without. He was very devout, and his
religious convictions would not allow him to "live in sin"; he insisted on her marrying him, and
would consent to nothing else, and when he was drunk he used to abuse her...show more content...
I myself ploughed and sowed and reaped, and was bored doing it, and frowned with disgust, like a
village cat driven by hunger to eat cucumbers in the kitchen–garden. My body ached, and I slept as I
walked. At first it seemed to me that I could easily reconcile this life of toil with my cultured
habits; to do so, I thought, all that is necessary is to maintain a certain external order in life. I
established myself upstairs here in the best rooms, and ordered them to bring me there coffee and
liquor after lunch and dinner, and when I went to bed I read every night the Yyesnik Evropi. But
one day our priest, Father Ivan, came and drank up all my liquor at one sitting; and the Yyesnik
Evropi went to the priest 's daughters; as in the summer, especially at the haymaking, I did not
succeed in getting to my bed at all, and slept in the sledge in the barn, or somewhere in the forester
's lodge, what chance was there of reading? Little by little I moved downstairs, began dining in the
servants ' kitchen, and of my former luxury nothing is left but the servants who were in my father 's
service, and whom it would be painful to turn away.

Essay On Romantic Love
Love is an abundant emotion that has different degrees. There is familial love, friendly love,
unconditional love, and of course romantic love. Romantic love will be the superstar of this article.
Romantic love may be around every corner whether between an old couple or a young teenage
romance. However, love is not the easiest thing to attain. It is such a simple concept, though a
difficult thing to actually have a person's hands on.
Most people nowadays will yearn for something more commonly known as true love. True love
can be explained in a sense that it is a person we may or may not consider as a soul mate. It can be
someone we love to a certain degree that we feel happy, complete, and contented.
The definition may be thrown out there in whatever way, but meeting eye to eye with said true love
comes with certain complexity.
In other times, we may be thrown off. What we think could be considered love may not actually be
love.
Though before knowing how to find love, one must know the basics when it comes to the act of
loving in general.
PsychologyToday.com records research on love.
According to said research, vital things to a deep kind of love are physical attraction and a certain
level of intimacy, which follow through with companionship that you feel towards the other person.
The following can lead to difficulty because, in a sense, people of today are inclined towards an
ideal view of romance. People are blinded by what they see in the media and relate whatever

Short Essay About Love

  • 1. Speech On Love Begets Love As a boy I was taught by teachers in grade school, by my priest that "love begets love." This was also the message when The Beatles sang "And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you made". So you believe it to be true because the principle is quite straightforward be nice to others and they'll be nice to you. Simple. As I grew older however, I realize it is not always the case. It turns out it all depends on the people you chose to love. There are people who are users who suck you dry for all the love you can give but are nowhere to be found when you need the love back. Then there are the emotional vampires who feed on your kindness and goodwill because they need it to boost their depleted egos and self–esteem. They will love you back but just enough so you'd stay. Again, emotionally you lose. Then there are the "foxes": The guarded people who will accept whatever love you can give as long as it doesn't invade their personal space in which case they'll push back sometimes vehemently lashing out just to tell you to "Stop, stay where you are." So you pull back clueless of what you did wrong. I call them foxes because they remind me of the fox from the book "The Little Prince" who keeps the Prince at bay until the fox built up enough trust that the Prince won't hurt him. Next are "Horta", named after the live stone creatures from Star Trek....show more content... Instead of planting for the sake of getting flowers, why not plant a seed solely for the sake of planting. No expectations. No payback. Love not to get love, but love for the sake of loving alone. In this scenario the users, the vampires, the foxes, and the like won't matter that they are the way they are because we'll love them anyway. Yes, this kind of loving is most difficult. This kind of loving will beat you up and is exhausting. However, it's the kind of loving that is most satisfying and fulfilling. Difficult but not Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Essay about Love Love Love is difficult to define, difficult to measure, and difficult to understand. Love is what great writers write about, great singers sing about, and great philosophers ponder. Love is a powerful emotion, for which there is no wrong definition, for it suits each and every person differently. Whether love is between family, friends, or lovers, it is an overwhelming emotion that can be experienced in many different ways. People experience love for the first time by being part of a family. Family love is demonstrated through lessons of sacrifice, concern and compassion, from the cradle to the grave. There are many different levels and conditions of family love. It is the love we cherish between our intermediate family and our...show more content... A close–knit loving bond between two people can begin with a friendship. Whether it is a friendship between two males, two females, or one male and one female, these friendships will develop into love. In no way is it a romantic love, but this type of love connects and bonds friends. Friends may move away or friendships may wane, but the love between the two people burns on forever. Romantic love is a love that not every person will experience. It is a type of love that is not there at the beginning, but grows within the individual. When one finally finds the love they have been looking for, one can not imagine life with anybody else. Romantic love is a connection between two souls that is captured with a feeling that is not only felt within the heart but within their body as well. I have never been in love with a girl; I can only imagine what it might be like to be in love. Guessing from my sister's relationship with boys, it seems like a big headache instead of a wonderful feeling. To simply write a definition of love is complicated because every person has a different perception of love. The only way to capture the true meaning of love is to experience the feeling and find out for oneself, what love is. In our lives and the lives of others, love is evident. Whether it is between family, friends, or lovers, love is a precious Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Descriptive Essay About Love Love is a very mysterious thing. People can have a love–at–first–sight type of situation or they can slowly, over time fall for someone. There have always been some meaningful quotes about love. Such as, "everybody has a soulmate" or "love will lead you to the person you're meant to be with." I always thought love wasn't real, and that people could never commit their lives to another person. Love was scary to me because i thought it would make my life worse, when in fact, it made my life complete. The first time we met, the first date, the first kiss, and the day he proposed are all signs of what life is. The first time we ever laid eyes on each other was in the small coffee shop. I remember stepping into the warm building, and the fresh smell of coffee hit me like a bus. Then, I saw him standing behind the counter, counting the cash register money from that long day. Notably, He had the most stunning, emerald green eyes with curly, chocolate brown hair that fell against his perfectly proportioned face, and the most perfect smile that showed his dimples and pearly white teeth. Soon after, I had felt me starting to blush because of how fastidious I was being. I had ordered my coffee, and was sixty–three cents short, so he just brushed it off. Before long, he sat down next to me with his own cup of the delicious, hot liquid. I must have been feeling gregarious that night because we talked so long, I lost track of time. In that moment, my heart grew with joy when he asked me Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Descriptive Essay About Love It was dark and cold. We were laying outside on a blanket, looking at the stars naming the constellations. We had a blanket under and over us as if we were peanut butter and jelly between two pieces of bread. We were laying in a field of roses and tulips. A mixture of our favorite flowers. I look over to him to see him staring back at me. " This is beautiful." I say once are eyes have been locked for a few minutes. "Your not even looking at the stars." He replies "Why would I look at them when I can look at you." He blushes and turns his eyes back to the stars. I look at him a little longer then I turn my gaze back to the stars. "Garrett, what are we going to do?" He says. Letting his words take up the void known as the night sky. "I don't know, but whatever we do we're going to do it together." He grabs onto my hand and squeezes it tight. I look at him again as he turns his gaze back to me. I look into his beautiful clover green eyes and start to remember my past. We lay there for hours, fighting over who is more beautiful and who loves whom more, but at the end we look one more time into each other's eyes and fear for what the next day will bring. Then we close our eyes and sleep. I dream. Yes I dream about our past. We met when I was a freshman in highschool. He was a sophomore. We only had one class together, because of me taking Algebra 1 in middle school I was sent straight to Algebra 2. I walked in the first day and didn't know where to sit. for all my friends where Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Descriptive Essay About Love My eyes were filled with tears. My heart was shattered into a million pieces. I laid a bundle of flowers down at the bed of my one true love. I silently cried as I traced the letters engraved into the cool stone. Why did I let this happen? I was so excited! It's been years since I've seen my beautiful flower. And by beautiful flower, I mean my oldest and dearest friend, (y/n). She was by far the most amazing mobian I've ever met. (Y/n) was shy and got embarrassed easily so her face was almost always lightly dusted with pink. It was adorable really Today I am traveling back to (h/t) to see her. I pulled my suitcase through the airport. Being in the army, for me, meant I didn't have to pack much. I went on missions quite often so I didn't really have time to mess around or write letters. But every day that is open, I call (y/n). Hearing her sweet voice always lightened my mood and encouraged me to go on. Sometimes she cries and I know she's lonely, but I tell her that I'd be with her no matter what. As soon as my missions came to an end I called her. She was so excited when she heard that I was coming home. I smiled as I sat down on one of the waiting chairs. I couldn't wait to have her in my arms again. Just then the intercom interrupted my daydream. "Attention all mobians; the (h/t) flight has been cancelled due to a plane crashing into the runway." Cancelled?! I panicked, this couldn't be happening! (Y/n) was counting on me! I took out my phone and tried to call her but the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Definition Essay About Love When we talk about love, most people think that love is the high mood, the abundant feeling and the vigorous event. But, what is the true love? Which kind of love is the one which we really need? Some people say that love is a feeling which is a natural expression when you meet the opposite sex with your admiration. Sometimes love is active, but sometimes it is passive. When love comes to you, you will act like you were the host of love with the capacity to controlling the direction of your love and guiding it move forward to where you want it to go. Of course, it would be admired if someone can control his love. But when you are played in a passive role, the last thing you can do is just obedience. In fact, speaking one's love loudly and lettingthe your lover know that he/she exists in your heart is a preservatives of love. Love means unconditional love for a person. • 7. What is Love? Essay Love, Love, Love. We all think about it, dream about it, sing about it, and even lose sleep worrying about it, but why? Love is such a small word paired with a vital meaning. It's universal, easy to spell, difficult to define, but impossible to live without. When we don't have it, we search for it, when we find it, we don't know what to do with it, when we have it, we fear losing it. Love is the constant source of happiness and sorrow. I am young and I haven't a clue as to what love is, let alone what falling in love is. However, I have my ideas of what love is like. I have never witnessed the beauty of people falling in love, or the severity of those falling out of love, so what is love? Love in general could be frightening. Some...show more content... I think falling in love with someone happens when you least expect it to, when you're too busy focusing on other aspects of your life. This is where fate comes into play. That specific person was led to you for some unknown reason. Out of the blues, it's like your knight in shining amour that you have longed to be with finally found his/her way to you. There are people in this world that think they may never fall in love again. You fall at times, but you get back up. You will love again, and you will also trust again. You have to simply let things get themselves done, that's when you know it's meant to be, because destiny took its course, and while you were too busy doing something else, the love of your life came along. Love dates way back to when the world began. In reality, we really have no idea what love truly is. Raising questions like, is it even real? We watch love movies, read romance novels, but that's the sugar–coated, sweet and simple version of it. Meeting someone, fall in love, get married, have kids, spend the rest of your lives together. What about the suffering we have to endure when falling in love? Risking everything for that one person? And even when we feel we've reached the end of the road, this person has the power to leave us at any given moment. We put ourselves out there with the chance they can break us apart. • 8. Short Essay About Love There was an awkward pause and then Victoria said: "Well I'll let you get on you on your way". Kiyan nodded as she walked away. The conversation had stunned him. He hadn't even thought of taking things further with Adelaide. Adelaide with the intense blue eyes, and the sexy smirk of hers...okay maybe he had. But for now they were just friends and Kiyan was perfectly fine with that. For now. Adelaide hinted at the idea of a date...but that was just an offhand comment. Did people who were just friends try to kiss you? Maybe some people did. What was it called again? A casual relationship. Maybe Adelaide just wanted a casual relationship, someone to kiss until someone better came along. The thought made Kiyan angry. He wasn't some toy she...show more content... Kiyan put a hand on her arm to stop her. Adelaide's eyes were alight, her teeth clenched in determination. Once she had her mind set on something there wasn't much that could stop her. It was like determination was her fuel and it lit her up. It was strangely arousing. "That isn't going to help" he said. Adelaide was tense but then she relaxed. Was it just his ego or did Kiyan have a calming effect on Adelaide? Did he have any effect on Adelaide? "Adelaide, there's something I've been meaning to ask you. It's about something Victoria said. She basically implied that you were leading me on". "What? Why would she think that? We're just friends" Adelaide said. "Are we? Because I've been thinking about how we act around each other and how it might look to other people" Kiyan started. Adelaide narrowed her eyes in confusion. "I don't care about other people. What are you saying?" Adelaide said. "I really like you but I'm not prepared to be someone you string along until someone better comes along" Kiyan said. "I don't understand where this is coming from" Adelaide said. "Have I been sending out signals?"

She does not love her husband and subsequently criticizes him as well, “…but he is a flunkey'; (178).These two situation best illustrate to the reader a typical case of people who remain in non loving relationships, where one spouse ends up disrespecting the other, thus demonstrating the importance of terminating such relationships. In a relationship or marriage, which is deficient of true love, the unhappy spouse is constantly seeking a means to escape and adventure. This phenomenon is present in the case of Anna, where she does not love her husband so she feels the need to leave her husband for a period of time and lie to him in order to do so. In a conversation with Dmitri, she tells him about her desperation to leave her husband and how it lead her into deceiving him, “I could not be restrained. I told my husband I was ill, and came here…';(178). When love is true, one wants to be with their spouse and not feel the need to leave their side, which is the way Anna feels. Similarly Dmitri, due to his lack of love for his wife felt compelled to desert his wife and consequently seek adventure. His adventures and happiness were rooted in his affairs, which he perpetually had with new women. From these two examples we see the ramifications of remaining in a relationship lacking true love. • 11. Persuasive essay Love is a beautiful thing. It makes people happy. It can change a person, and show someone things that they never knew about themselves. It lifts one up, knowing there is always someone who will stand by their side through anything. It brings people together, and makes the world a better place. Some people may disagree; they might think love is just a fantasy. Either way, it is a fantasy that everyone deserves to dream of and experience in all its glory, whether straight, lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. However, not all people are so accepting of love when it is not in the form that they are familiar with, or is not demonstrated in ways that they think are proper. This can be easily seen in society's treatment of non–heterosexuals,...show more content... Yes, the legal definition ofmarriage includes that it is between one man and one woman. This definition is not fair. Marriage should be about powerful love and support, despite the genders of the two recipients. Minnesota republican Wheelock Whitney, who ran for governor and senator in past years, wrote an editorial on his support for gay marriage in the Star Tribune last month. He said: "Gay men and lesbians are among the most talented people out there. Needless and hurtful laws [banning same–sex marriage] drive them away. They also drive away innovative people of any sexual orientation who simply want to live in a place that respects and celebrates the diversity of life." He continued by saying: "my happiness has never depended on depriving others of their happiness. My marriage has never needed the exclusion of others from marriage. I am not threatened by seeing others find love and celebrate it." Gays are normal people just like anyone else, who struggle with their identities and live in search of success, love, and happiness. Prejudiced laws banning same–sex marriage needlessly keep these people from natural human desires. No damage is done to society by letting same–sex couple marry and lead more content, loving lives. If anything, it makes our country a better, happier place. While adult non–heterosexuals are regularly discriminated against via their denied access from legal marriage, those much younger face constant discrimination Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 12. What Does The Word Love? What does the word love mean? I have heard the word love since I was a child, but never really seemed to learn a definition, love meant something different to everyone. I stopped by Hallmark store to pick out a happy mother's day card and found myself absorbing all the different types of cards on love. There were some for mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, friends, just about anyone I could think of. The content in these cards showed me that true love isn't written in just one form, but in many messages put together. When I was a little girl, my dad and mom always tucked me in at night and said, "Night Jess, I love you." These five little word made me feel secure and like I could conquer the world. When I was older and left the house just...show more content... One night a guy told me that he loved me; it sparked so much energy into me I could have ran twenty miles! My heart felt like it was going to explode as I scrambled for the words, and my knees began to weaken. All that spewed out of my mouth was gibberish, but I felt in love. Every time we were together I had to look just right: every single hair slicked into its place, the smell of perfume, and myself looking like a new–crisped ten dollar bill. But this relationship soon came to a halt as he dumped me like a ton of rocks and my heart crumpled to pieces. I came crying to my mom and dad as they tried to console me by explaining it was just a "puppy love". Puppy love is romantic love that is felt by a child or teenager and that is not considered by adults to be real love, according to Merriam–Webster (2014). Apparently it happens to everyone who thinks they found true love for the first time. I then made a dramatic decision that if love LOVE 3 hurt so badly I wanted nothing to do with it anymore, and later found that I was going to fall for another boy and use that same term, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Essay about What is Love? What is love? The type of love I'm describing is the one that gives you butterflies when a certain person comes to mind. Just seeing that particular person can be enough to make one smile and make your day and all the worries go away. Right now that person comes to mind. It's neither a crush nor infatuation and many are willing to do anything for this thing that is called love. Love can hurt in the long run, and people can also be blinded by it. Those who are ready to be loved have to ask themselves if there are emotionally ready for. Many people put up walls to guard their "heart" from being hurt again. Love teaches us many lessons. We use those lessons in our future relationships. We don't want to make the same mistakes. Lastly, love...show more content... • 14. Essay on Love Much has been said about love, but if you search the horizon, you will discover that most of the things written about love are either pithy or cynical. Society in general can be cruel and heartless toward real virtue of any kind. In the most popular venues, love is seldom dealt with with any degree of sobriety. Modern humor mocks marriage, husbands and wives, then glorifies every conceivable breech of virtue, such as sexual immorality, profane and obscene values. Real love is a mystery to most people. Some people seem to desire the trappings and embellishments of romance in place of genuine relationships. By comparison, romance is superficial to love. Romance is skin deep. Love is heart deep. Romance requires things that love does not require. Romance requires gifs and surprises and lavish attention. Romance sometimes demands things that contradict love. Romance is offended when the gold leaf wears off. Romance condemns love that is not eye–pleasing. Romance often injures and denigrates true love because love doesn't always appeal to romance's selfishness. Love is for givers, not getters. Those who demand to be loved before they will love shouldn't be surprised if no one gives them love. Lovers live in a world of giving. The getters, the ones who are looking for love, is a different world. We have a duty to love, but we have no guarantees that we will be loved. • 15. Essay About A Love Story Now– Hani cried into him. This was not to be a love story, or one with a happy ending at all was it? There was never to be a finality. This would never end. Never. Hani would live forever, just as Lee should have, but he had given his life to her... his very soul. He would die here in her arms, and she would be alone. No hope. No love. Six months ago– Hani sighed. "It's funny... how I became a vet in hopes to save lives." He just looked at her curiously. "you saved mine that night." He reminded her. Hani started spacing out. Lost in thought. Then the flashback came. That night... the memory was vivid in her mind. She had been heading back to her home in the heavy rain, when she saw him soaking wet, and bleeding out. The wound in his side was gleaming red in the dim light of dusk in the rain. Though he had almost no strength left, he pleaded to her not to call an ambulance. His voice was strained. Any of the ragged breaths he took now could be his last. Shaking with the effort of dragging him along, she finally brought him to her vet. She lay his limp body to the floor. She was not licensed to treat another human, but to protect life was the way she would eventually go. It all came down to this. Every moment was to be made use of. She dashed into another room, and seconds later darted back out, with all of the necessary medical supplies. Dropping down to her knees by his side, she pulled his shirt up a little to get a better look at his wound. It looked like he was stabbed Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Descriptive Essay About Love The Merriam–Webster dictionary defines the word love as, "a feeling of strong or constant affection for someone." I personally define love as an unconditional feeling and a feeling of absolute bliss. The five qualities that I believe are the most important in love include dependability, honesty, selflessness, loyalty, and empathy. Most everyone needs someone that willlove them unconditionally to help guide them when they are at a low and support them when they are at their high; for me, that person is my best friend and boyfriend, Ean Isaiah Thomsen. Before my sophomore year of high school, Ean Thomsen was not necessarily a person that I was fond of. When we were in our freshmen year, Ean was an immature, obnoxious person, always trying to get attention. On August 29, 2015, I remember feeling my phone buzz in my denim shorts pocket and receiving a text message from Ean Thomsen saying, "Happy Birthday Kena!" From there, we started having random conversations over text and throughout the school days, making me realize that he had matured exponentially over the summer. We began to date on September 29, 2017, and I still remember observing the surprised faces of people when the news had spread; we are currently still together. Ean Thomsen has light brown, silky hair that falls perfectly on his forehead, not shaggy like a dog, but not extremely short either. His deep, dark chocolate brown eyes could easily mesmerize you and he has eyelashes that any girl would envy to have. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Definition Essay About Love Love is difficult to define. The dictionary describes the emotion as an intense feeling of deep attraction, but what does that mean? The feeling is so complex and unique it would take a million words to describe. To each person, love can be a different feeling, a different experience, a different idea. Each person has felt love at least once in a lifetime; the love of something or someone, loving or being loved. The word "love" is extraordinarily difficult to define because each person experiences it differently, but it must be experienced to be understood. Emotion is said to be energy in motion. The emotion "love" is powerful; it drives people to act in profound and unexplainable ways. All reason can be lost, all logic defied, and what is left is an overwhelming urge to do something drastic. Love can make people quit their job and fly halfway across the country or risk their life to run into a burning building. Love's meaning runs deeper than the roots of a dictionary definition. Age significantly changes how one views love. The way teens view love is drastically different from that of an adult with a lifetime of experience. In high school, teens give away "I love you" like a greeting. Love has no meaning more than "I enjoy you" to them. The use has...show more content... • 18. Descriptive Essay About Love Music and life are diverse, with soft and soothing lullabies and large and rhapsodic thrillers. But there is no in between. Love, however, is like a symphony. Constantly rising and falling, exquisitely unpredictable, but beautiful and unique nonetheless. Dissonant, and yet still comes together to create something otherworldly. It is rare to witness a kind of love that manages to make one feel infinite. It is even rarer to have this kind of love last. Although, when people are young, they are more likely to have diminutive tastes of this love and are bound to advance the prospect of it in the future. I have been lucky enough to experience this symphony and I hope others are fortunate enough to encounter this illustrious phenomenon we all call love. The festival of colors is always a lively occasion where everyone comes together to celebrate spring. When I arrived at the temple in March 2016, I did not know that would be my first encounter with the boy. My friends and I were traversing all over the property trying to catch people unaware when we flung color onto them. When we were close to leaving, I saw him from the back and gathered the largest pile of orange color in my hands. While I crept up behind him, I had a jubilant smile on my face as I went on my tiptoes and ruffled all the powder into his hair. He turned around, and the way his smile formed and the sound of his laugh made me tingle with happiness. Excitement. The genuine contentedness made me determined to learn Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 19. My First Love Essay Having a first love can change your life for the better in so many ways. My first love did that and much more. The best part of it I didn't expect any of it. The first time I was introduced to her I was working at a place called smoothie king. I remember her walking in she was stunning basically, breath taking. I've never seen anyone as gorgeous as her. When she first walked in the first thing I noticed was her long slick hair and a smile of an angel. Her eyes where amazing as a result I would just get lost in them. The crazy part was I've never felt that way for anyone else. I would just get this pulsing rushing feeling throughout my whole body. If someone could actually give me that feeling I knew they were precious. So, I started to talk to her more and I really felt this strong connection forming between us. The more we hanged out the more my life became great. Just being around her and the things, we did I felt my life heading in a direction that was so perfect. Having that feeling that someone appreciates you was so valuable to me. I started to see myself through someone else's eyes wondering what I could do to be a better person. That's exactly what I did. I saw myself being more grateful and understanding. There were also things I've always wanted to do in my life but I could never do because I was either unhappy or didn't have someone to do it with therefore with her I was able to do all of it. She really did change my life for the better and I can't thank her enough. My first love really did make me feel like I wanted to go out and experience the world like I've never have before. Even something so small like going skating was huge for me. Our first date we actually, went skating. That night made me realize even having someone there with you while you do something fun and that you both like is an experience I will never forget and cherish till this day. I was full of joy and excitement of how much bonding we were doing. I was never so giving but I caught myself buying everything that night when I usually wont. We skated for hours trying to impress each other with fancy skate tricks. She made me feel so different but in a good way. I felt like I would absorb all her likings. • 20. About Love At lunch next day there were very nice pies, crayfish, and mutton cutlets; and while we were eating, Nikanor, the cook, came up to ask what the visitors would like for dinner. He was a man of medium height, with a puffy face and little eyes; he was close–shaven, and it looked as though his moustaches had not been shaved, but had been pulled out by the roots. Alehin told us that the beautiful Pelagea was in love with this cook. As he drank and was of a violent character, she did not want to marry him, but was willing to live with him without. But one day our priest, Father Ivan, came and drank up all my liquor at one sitting; and the Yyesnik Evropi went to the priest 's daughters; as in the summer, especially at the haymaking, I did not succeed in getting to my bed at all, and slept in the sledge in the barn, or somewhere in the forester 's lodge, what chance was there of reading? Romantic love will be the superstar of this article. Romantic love may be around every corner whether between an old couple or a young teenage romance. However, love is not the easiest thing to attain. It is such a simple concept, though a difficult thing to actually have a person's hands on. Most people nowadays will yearn for something more commonly known as true love. True love can be explained in a sense that it is a person we may or may not consider as a soul mate. It can be someone we love to a certain degree that we feel happy, complete, and contented. The definition may be thrown out there in whatever way, but meeting eye to eye with said true love comes with certain complexity. In other times, we may be thrown off.
