How	do	you	create	a	posi-ve	company	culture?
How	do	you	create	a	posi-ve	company	culture?	
Start	with	the	basics.

Culture	is	consistent,	observable	
paMerns	of	behavior	in	organiza-ons.		
Aristotle	said,	“We	are	what	we	
repeatedly	do.”
For	example,	Southwest	Airlines:	
Airlines	are	oBen	hot-spots	for	dissa-sfied	employees,	and	
therefore	dissa-sfied	customers.	Southwest	Airlines	goes	against	
those	trends	by	communica-ng	their	goals	and	vision.	They	
create	a	unified	team	with	a	common	purpose.
Southwest	gives	employees	“permission”	do	a	liMle	
more	to	make	customers	happy.	Employees	feel	
empowered	and	help	one	another	meet	the	vision	of	
the	company.

Employees	of	TwiMer	have	rooBop	mee-ngs	and	a	focus	
on	team-work.	They	also	get	free	meals	at	the	San

classes	and	extra	-me	off.
TwiMer’s	employees	love	working	with	
their	talented	team	members.	They	feel	
valued	and	part	of	a	greater	purpose.
