1. INTRODUCTION:
The baby dumping refers to discarding or leaving alone, for an
extended period of time, a child younger than 12 month of age
in a public or private setting with the intent to dispose of the
child. It is a crime which happens when close proximity is
committed between a guy and a women and resulted in
unwanted baby. Today, we want to discuss about to identify
statistics of baby dumping in east coast of Malaysia in January
to June 2016. Secondly, we would like to explore the causes
that lead to baby dumping problem in east coast of Malaysia.
Finally, we would like to recommended the measures to
overcome the problem of baby dumping in east coast Malaysia.

2. OBJECTIVE:
1. To identify the statistics of baby dumping in east coast of
Malaysia.
2. To explore the causes that lead to baby dumping problem in
east coast of Malaysia.
3. To suggest the measures to overcome the problem of baby
dumping in east coast Malaysia.

4. The pie chart above shows the number of
baby dumping by state in January 2016 to
June 2016.
Pahang has recorded the highest percentage with
40%, the case is 36 out of 90 cases. It is because
Pahang many promiscuity between man and woman.
After that, Pahang has many night entertainment
center. Kelantan has recorded the lowest percentage
with 28%, the case is 25 cases out of 90 cases. This
amount because Kelantan has less promiscuity and
don’t have night club or night entertainment center. In
Terengganu recorded 29 cases with 32%.

 The bar graph above shows the statistic case of
baby abandonment in January to June 2016.
 The baby die largest in may to June 2016 is 25 while
baby alive largest in January to February 2016 is 15.
 Baby die smallest in march to April is 15 while the
baby alive is 5 in may to June 2016.
 In January to February 2016 the graph slightly lower
, the number of baby die is 20 while baby alive is 15.
 The graph in march to April is marginally lower , the
number of baby die and alive different as much 5
people.
 Dramatically higher in may to June 2016. The
different shows 20 people. The baby die is 25 while
baby alive is 5 .

 The bar graph above shows the statistic case of
baby dumping in January to June 2016 by state.
 Pahang was the largest cases baby dumping in
January to February that is 15 cases between
Kelantan and Terengganu that is only 10 cases.
 In March to April, Kelantan was somewhat lower
than Terengganu and Pahang.
 In May to June, all state have the same number of
cases that is 10 cases.

9. CAUSE:
 Lack of love from parents
Besides that, parents always assume that their children will know everything naturally
when they become adult.
 Lack of religious education
Them lose direction in live
 Affected by social media
Today, the teenagers are more exposed to the Internet and other sources of mass
media. They tend to access the pornography websites which getting a lot of attention.
EFFECT:
 Impact on baby
Baby’s life not guaranteed and lack of self worth psychology
 Impact on female
Girls who are pregnant rejected by family which let them to no family support and left
stranded
 Impact on society
The baby dumping also give some effects to society because it can cause the abortion
will be mimicked by others. Most of the cases of baby dumping are using the same way that
removes a newborn baby like a rubbish.

11. CONCLUSION
In conclusion, baby dumping is morally and physically wrong.
there are many factors that lead to cases of baby dumping
occurred. This problem should be addressed and resolved to
carry out these steps effectively before the situation worsens
and threatens the future of the country. In this case, all parties
must cooperate and work together to solve this problem
because like the Malay proverb says, "because the sewer water
round, round man for consensus". Teenagers should keep a
distance from crimes. They have to learn to be responsible for
what they have done and think maturely on the pros and cons
before jumping to a conclusion. They should be able to what is
good what is bad. All in all, parents and society must play their
roles in baby dumping cases by imposing enough sex education
for their children and always beware on their children's actions.
We should put a stop on baby dumping and start to see these
infants as gis to be treasured. After all, they are your own
inheritor.
