Look and feel your most beautiful in subtle makeup, a
simple outfit, and one or two pieces of amazing
jewellery.
That’s all it takes.
The bonus is how incredibly easy it is.
5.
6. Are you comfortable in front of the camera?
It takes a while to get there. But step by step I’ve worked
with some fabulous women, empowering them to look their
best.
It starts with a sparkle in the eye and a truly honest
expression because we all know that less-is-more and subtle
style simply works.
• Your complexion will convey the epitome of health
• Your gaze will possess confidence
• Your portrait will reveal inner beauty
No one on earth can do what you do, in precisely the
way YOU do it.
7.
8. The secret to natural beauty is
confidence; feeling confident will help
you look good in whatever you’re
wearing.

10. SKIN
You have healthy, clear skin that comes
from eating right and taking care of
yourself, so you want a foundation that
looks completely natural, that can’t be seen
on your skin. Begin with a dab of corrector
and concealer just where you need it most,
then a light foundation or tinted moisturizer
that completely blends into skin.
CHEEKS
Go with plenty of brush that is the colour
your cheeks turn when you exercise.
LIPS
Choose a colour in the natural tone that
appears when you bite your lips (your
perfect nude). You can achieve this look by
blotting regular lipstick, applying a pretty
gloss or reaching for a sheer lip stain.
HAIR
Natural hair should be healthy, shiny,
carefree and beautiful. A great cut that
flatters the natural texture of the hair will
give you an unfussy, low-maintenance look.
Short cuts should flatter the shape of the
face, while longer hair should be easy to
maintain for wash-and-go-chic.
Try adding a bit of product to keep the hair
way from the face. This keeps the focus on
your face and is a clean and modern way
to style your hair.
– A dash of colour is important – I
love the look of red lipstick and a fresh bare
face.
It’s simple and beautiful.
11.
12.
13. Dress them up.
Tone them down.
Make them your own.
Your style is expressive - a balanced mix of vibrant hues and neutral simplicity.
It’s inspired by the rawness of nature and markings created by the human
hand, feminine energy and clever tailoring.

19. The key to a successful portrait session?
Preparation.
For that reason alone, don’t wait until the last minute to
get everything in order.
Here’s your go-to guide for frazzle free planning.

21. CREATE A SCHEDULE FOR YOURSELF
On the day of your shoot, it’s important to
budget your time. If you plan to have your
hair and make up done, make all your
appointments in advance.
The last thing you want to be done is sitting
in a salon sweating it out with both eyes
glued to the clock hoping you’ll make it to
the shoot on time.
SAMPLE SCHEDULE
Here's a breakdown of the session so you
can picture what to expect:
- warm smile and handshake when we
meet
- looking through your outfit options
- set up and shoot - we'll find a cosy corner
as our base
- review images - this inspires confidence
- have fun
- repeat in a new location, outfit or setting
– print off a map, address or contact
details on the day of your shoot
PREPARING OUTFITS
A week before your shoot, make a list of all
the clothes you intend to wear. One by one
make sure the outfits make you feel
confident and are freshly laundered.
Leave yourself ample time to find any
items you want to bring. Don’t forget to
send me a snap shot of your outfits.
Knowing what you want to wear helps me
choose the right locations.
THE NIGHT BEFORE
The night before, pack your small sports
bag and include a hair brush, lip balm and
tissues.
Get a good nights sleep and drink lots of
water.
If it’s all there, you won’t have to worry
about it on the day.
– you’ll look and feel
like a bajillion bucks!
22.
23. are chosen to help you become camera confident and care free.
There’ll be public toilets nearby for changing, so pack a small sports bag or
trolly-dolly with your choice of outfits.
If you’re uncertain of any items of clothing: don’t worry, bring them along. We
can make a decision on the day.
Our meeting point has lots of backdrops, is very quiet and invariably boasts a
great coffee shop!

Shameless request - if you have 'first thoughts' about how
you felt during the session, I'd love a testimonial:

I can talk about it 'til I'm purple, but it won't have as much
impact as someone who's met me!
