is a non-profit in Singapore that brings joy to
those in need by delivering food, toys and hope.
2. Mission of Food from the
Heart
Their mission is “To reach out to the less-
fortunate and brighten their lives by
alleviating hunger through a food
distribution programme and bringing joy
through the distribution of toys and birthday
celebrations.”

4. About ‘Bread Programme’
Involves over 100 bakeries and hotels
and over 1,700 volunteers collecting
bread from bakeries all over
Singapore to distribute to over 14,500
beneficiaries from more than 150
welfare homes, senior centres, self
collection centres and other needy
families in the country.
5. About ‘Self Collection
Centres’
They work with residents’ committees
and family service centres to find and
supply food items and other rations.
Currently has 31 self collection
centres across Singapore, giving
assistance to over 5,400 people by
giving food and encouragement.
6. About ‘Food Goodie Bag’
Works with 21 schools to find their most
needy students, then provides supplies
monthly to help the over 4,200
individuals from the families of over
1000 students in the form of food
rations.
7. About ‘Toys from the Heart’
Aims to deliver a message of hope
and ensures that need children in
Singapore are given opportunity to
have joyful experiences that every
child should have.
Corporations, schools, and individuals
help by holding toy drives, assisting at
events, and help with gift preparations
and distribution annually.
8. About ‘Birthdays from the Heart’
Volunteers help by celebrating with the
birthday children or senior citizen of
the month from 10 welfare homes.
They can also consider sponsoring
birthday cakes and gifts for said
recipients.
