Ten Characteristics Of Good Leadership
1. Vision
When leaders have vision, they know where they are headed to; with
this subordinates will also have a direction. Being a good leader must
consider the future. Leaders must view their selves as what they could be
2. Knowledgeable
Good leaders must be smart. They need to have knowledge when running
an organization. He must be knowledgeable enough to solve problems
encountered by the team. A highly knowledgeable leader is very
significant of becoming a good leader.
3. Confident
How can a good leader hold an organization if he or she is not
confident? It is very essential for a leader to be confident. He must
believe in his own capabilities. He must trust every decision he make
in order to lead effectively.
3 STEPS ON HOW TO LOOK CONFIDENT.
1. Do not slouch
Stand straight, breast out and stomach in, head high. Having a good
posture would make you look confident.
2. Love yourself
Love yourself, don’t try to be someone like others. You will
not succeed on that. Try to love and know yourself more. If you love
yourself, you will feel happiness deep inside and with that, you will be
able to share your happiness to others thus it would look you more
confident. Keep on smiling to other people, show them your friendly
and you are easy to be with.
3. Look on the eye
When you talk with people or stranger look them on
the eye, maintain eye contact. When you meet new people,
your eyes say much than your mouth. Maintaining an eye
contact means that you are confident in yourself.
4. Persistent
A persistent leader is what makes a good leader. He must be persistent in his goals
and vision. A good leader is determined in pursuing his goals.
They must be able to understand that there will be hardships and challenges
encountered along the way, but despite all of this they will still see the benefits
behind the hardships.
5. Maturity
A good leader is physically, mentally and emotionally matured. He must be
able to adapt to changes. He must be able to handle this with ease.
6. Charismatic
It is effective for a leader if he is charismatic. A good leader brings energy and
laughter to the organization. A very charming leader captivates the hearts of his
subordinates and molds them into their personalities.
7. Wise
A good leader must be wise. He must be sharp and sensitive. A good leader needs to
face crucial decisions at the point of their organization. Having the insight to make the
right decision is very significant in an organization.
8. Good Communicators
An effective communication is very significant in good
leadership. It is very important for a leader to listen by heart and
not just by ear. They must know how to speak to the public and
influence the people with their message.
TIPS ON HOW TO BE A GOOD COMMUNICATOR

A good leader means what he always says. They always keep their word. They
have integrity. They keep their promises. They are viewed as trustworthy.
HOW TO BUILD THE CHARACTER OF INTEGRITY…
Ø Be understanding
Ø Open your eyes, heart, mind and soul
Ø Choose your values and principles that you believe
and could make you happy
10. Firm but fair
A good leader is firm with his rules but fair to everyone. He does not have any favorite
in the group and teats everyone fairly. Being a good leader distributes task to his
subordinates fairly.
TIPS ON HOW TO PRACTICE FAIRNESS
Ø Fairness begets fairness.
Which means, if you want to be treated fairly, and then treat everyone fairly as you
wish they would treat you?
Ø Be consistent.
There are rules in every organization. Make sure to follow the rules and apply them
equally to everyone as well as to yourself.
Ø Honesty is the best policy.
Be honest to everyone and to yourself. Tell everyone why this does happen so that
they would be able to understand. Tell them why this situation occurs, why this
decision does was made. When they would be able to understand every situation,
then it would increase cooperation.
Ø Modify Rules.
There are some rules that are not applicable to certain situations or sometimes they
make something unfair. You have to modify the rules. Make sure that the reason you
change it is for everyone, and to increase fairness but not anything else.

  1. What are the ten characteristics of good leadership? Is your leadership better enough to be called a good leader? Do you think you possess any good qualities of a good leader? Anyone can be a leader, but can anyone be a good leader? I have noticed that good leaders have certain core personality traits. Many of us want to be a good leader. Many leaders aspire to lead effectively. A lot of hopes are trapped on to them to bring change for the betterment of the organization. But what are characteristics of making a good leader? Here are the ten characteristics of good leadership:
  2. Do you know how to write vision statement? What is a vision statement? In this article you will be able to answer these questions plus you will be able to know more about vision statements.                 First, I would like to answer the latter question. Vision statement is statements amended by the chief leader which provides the group a picture of the future. Vision statements would be used as inspiration.
  3. Acquire knowledge through formal education Acquire knowledge through experiences Mistakes are good learning experiences. Learn from your mistakes, when you made a wrong move, then don’t pity yourself. you may learn experience from other people. By merely talking, meeting people, meeting leaders and having interaction with them you will be able to learn and gain knowledge and acquire ideas from them. So, you have to be friendly, be approachable to people because you can gain from them. As a leader, we need to strive hard to learn and acquire knowledge because much is expected on us. We are the one looked up by our people so we need to show to them that we can.
  4. Here are my 3 steps on how to look confident. 1. Do not slouch                 Stand straight, breast out and stomach in, head high. Walk this way. This would help you look confident. If you are not used to this posture, then it would be difficult for you at first but as you practice it daily, you will be able to manage it. Having a good posture would make you look confident. 2. If you love yourself, you will feel happiness deep inside and with that, you will be able to share your happiness to others thus it would look you more confident.   5. Maturity is learned through experiences of one’s life. There are some people who thinks and act maturely yet their age is still young, on the other hand, there are also people who’s age are old enough yet they are still immature. Here are some tips on how to be matured.         1. Be with matured people                 Staying with matured people will make you mature also. Why? Because you will be able to observe how they talk, decide and run their life. Matured people know and understand immature people. Matured people are experienced people. When you stay will them, you will be able to learn their way of life and you may also apply it to yours. 2. Be independent                 Stand on your own feet. In you wanted to grow up and become mature then stop depending unto other people especially to your parents. Be independent financially and emotionally. Learn to live on your own. It may be hard on the first, but sooner you will be able to handle it if you will just be stronger. 3.  Have fun!                 It doesn’t mean that you wanted to be mature and to look matured you will stop from having fun. Still you need to be happy in life, you need to connect with people and socialize with your friends. Hang out with them, just have coffee, or some lunch but never with alcohol or drugs!

The Power of Charismatic Leadership Think of a presentation for a class or a work meeting where you could tell the person leading the presentation knew what they were talking about, but no one was able to focus to the whole presentation. Why is this? If this person was a leader do you think they would get top results with their followers? Now, think about a person you know who when they start talking about some thing they know a lot about everyone stops to listen. Why is this? If this person was a leader, leading on some thing he was passionate about do you think people would follow him? The difference is passion: This is The power Charismatic Leadership. All the best leaders ALWAYS have a passion for what/why they are leading. The best military leaders cared about the cause they were fighting for, and with that they were able to share that passion with their troops. The troops then preformed better feeding off of the energy of their leader. You can know all the information there is to know on what you are trying to be a leader, but if you can’t share it with passion you are not going to be an effective leader. What do you to lead with Charismatic Leadership? Self Confidence- is the ability to act with poise and assurance of your self. In leadership people can see if you look and act confident. Humans naturally flow toward confidence. How do you get this confidence in your self, or are you born with it? You can improve you confidence. be informed in the area you want to be confident. practice public speaking and leadership out side of you regular leadership Toastmasters the more you can improve out side of were you are leading the better remind your self you know what you are talking about (because you should know about it step 1) repeat continually, never stop trying to grow The passion-passion is a deep driving care. If you want to be successful long term you have to like what you are doing. If you want to be able to get others to follow you as well you have a great passion for, and be able to express that passion to those you want to follow you. How? First make sure what you are trying to lead is something you can be passionate about. If its not… you may want to consider changing what you are doing, or at least how you are doing it until you can find that passion in your self before trying to share it with others. Once you have the passion, and you gain confidence, just be honest and let people know your passion share it vividly and it will come, people will follow. 
  7. Are you wise like the wise men? Now, do you already know the wise men? Here are my tips on how to become a wise men... 1. Know thy self                 How can you become a wise men when you haven’t known yourself first? Knowing yourself could be time consuming but it would be very lovely and self fulfilling to know yourself than anything in this world. It Is good that you know something and most things of yourself. Why? Because you will be able to know what you want in life, how are you going to run your life and with this you will be able to know what will you do in your life. You will be able to decide wisely. You will know when to say YES and when to say NO.   2. Don’t be on a RUSH                 Take it slow. When deciding for which to take, whether situation A or situation B, think first. Do not be over whelmed for what situation A offers. Take some time to think, there may some offers, better offers which will come after a minute. If you still have time to decide, grab the time. It would be wise on not to take a rush decisions. Who were the wise men? Are those who take rush decisions or those who decide slow but sure?  
  8. So, who is a good communicator? Here it is... A good communicator is…the one who listens. A good communicator is…the one who speaks with clarity. A good communicator is…the one who thinks clearly. A good communicator is…the one who does not but in when someone is still talking. A good communicator is…the one who does not hesitate to speak what his heart says. Do you possess these skills? Are you a good communicator? Here are some tips on how to be a good communicator.
  9. 1. Be a good listener.                 When some one is speaking, listen. Do not try to speak and to but in. Take time to listen, don’t be in a rush to say what you have in mind. After the other person is speaking, pause for 3 seconds before speaking. Internalize first what he had said. When it’s your time to speak, then speak with clarity. Clear first in your mind what you wanted to say. Say it slowly and make sure that he had understand what you are trying to mean. 2. Have courage to say what your heart says.                 Other people may have difficulty speaking what they wanted to say, and what their heart feels. They may be afraid that other people may judge them. Fear hinders their ability to speak. Have courage to say anything you wanted to say. Do not be afraid. Fear will not help. 3. Practice speaking                 Being a good communicator is a skill that every leader must have. Speaking is a skill that every body does not have. If you know how to speak, then you can use that skill to be competent.
  10. 9. Integrity A good leader means what he always says. They always keep their word. They have integrity. They keep their promises. They are viewed as trustworthy. Integrity is a value that every leader must acquire. It implies real service to the organization in doing the right thing in the right reason regardless of the outcome. People who have the value of integrity are trusted.                 Integrity is important in leadership because leaders need to prove themselves to people. They need to gain the TRUST of the people so that they will be in their positions. Leaders can prove their integrity through their actions and decisions. The value of integrity must be in the heart of every leader and it will come out naturally. 
  11. HOW TO BUILD THE CHARACTER OF INTEGRITY… Ø  Be understanding Integrity comes with understanding. A person with values of integrity must also have a value of understanding. Ø  Open your eyes, heart, mind and soul Be open minded. Open you eyes to what is going on around, open your heart for any forgiveness, and open your mind and soul for any possible solutions that is suited for the situation. As to integrity definition, integrity is steadfast adherence to a strict morals and ethics, then you should also be open to any possible solutions but still not able to break the value of integrity. Ø  Choose your values and principles  that you believe and could make you happy               We believe that a person has more than one value. It is best to pick values and principles that could make you happy. Pair integrity with another value to make you an effective leader.   
  12. The attitude of fairness in the workplace is a must in becoming an effective leader. Leaders who are fair and treat everyone fairly are admired. Fairness is a good management. When a leader is fair to his members, they would stop worrying who is the favorite one, who else feels that he isn’t trust or who else feel an unfair share. When you treat everyone fairly, as a leader, it increases respect and dignity. Assess yourself. Look around. Look on your team members and check yourself if you are treating everyone fairly.   13. These are the characteristics of a good leader. You don’t have to acquire all of this in order to be a good leader but at lease you acquire these qualities more. Also, you may acquire some of the qualities stronger than the others. But always put in your mind that you do not have to be a perfect leader, you just need to be a good and effective leader.
