1. are todays celebrities role models Essay
Are today's superstars really role models for today's youth? I think they are! So many people in
the entertainment business set great examples for our youth to strive for the best and most out of
life. Take musicians they really come through in times of need. Take this past few weeks with the
tragedies in New York City and Washington D. C they have helped organize relief funds and
benefit concerts for the families who lost their loved ones. They went to the scenes and helped out
by passing out food and water. This I think sets a good positive outlook for today's youth. It shows
that not everything is about glamour and that these superstars are affected by this as well and
everyone needs to lend a hand.

A lot of other musicians are involved in benefit concerts and recordings, musician like Michael
Jackson , Quincy Jones set up recording to help people in South Africa fight apartheid and helped
get relief to the millions starving in Ethiopia. In a few nights you will see 20 musicians sing for
charity to help the police and families of those involved in the World Trade Center tragedy. I think
this is something that is positive and it shows today's youth what it means to be a human . Everyday
a superstar does something to impress our youth and it is taken as if that particular star was talking
directly to that youth.
" Most of us are concentrating on the things that really matter, like our talents and goals. Music
plays a large role in all of our lives, but for teens, music becomes especially important, giving a
voice to those unable to speak their feelings. It is also the number one reason why many teens stay
away from drugs. As part of a national initiative conducted by the National Youth Anti
–Drug Media
Campaign, music was the number one response from more than 25,000 kids, age 9–17, who
responded online and through the mail. "What's Your Anti

Kant published many works on ethics, law, and religion. His argument was that our skills are
designed by basic features of our minds. Kant's philosophy influenced many German thinkers of his
time and he moved the philosophy beyond the debate between realists and empiricists.
Kant considered himself to be an innovative thinker. He believed that he brought a new method to
philosophy, which he called criticism. Other philosophers had brought out their systems without
examining the power of human reason. Kant is seen as a major figure in the history and the growth
of philosophy. German and European thinking grew after his time and his influence still inspires
philosophical work today. Kant revolutionized philosophy.

3. How To Become Famous Essay
There are many people who want to become famous for all kinds of reason. Some people may have
talents that they want to get famous for. Other people may want to be well–known to gain popularity
and friends.
One of the most important steps to becoming famous is mastering an art. It is not enough to be good
at something, you need to be outstanding in whatever area that you choose. Today, there are so
many people who are famous that you need to stand out from the crowd. Along the way there will
be people who offer you advise. However not all the advise that you are given will be good. There
are some people who are condescending and patronising. Others will tell you to give up on your
dreams, but you should not listen to them. However, you...show more content...
There are many ways of getting famous. There are as many ways of becoming famous as there
are famous people. If you aim to do something that will inspire people then you will go a long
way. You need to be precocious at whatever it is you do and you also need to be the first to do
something. An example, of this would be the Osbourne's. Until the Osbourne's reality show had been
televised there had never been anything like it.
Reality shows didn't start to be a big thing until the Osbourne's had been shown on national
television. It was the Osbourne's who were the first people to make it big as reality television stars. In
fact, their shows are still being shown on television, even years after they have completed filming.
You need to find a talent and present it in a way that is unique. Therefore, find a talent that is
different from the norm and you will stand out from the crowd.
You will need to do a lot of research, especially at first. Look at all the major search engines and
find something that people love. If people abhor a musical instrument or a particular genre of music
then you won't gain the recognition that you want. Try and find out why other people are famous
and what they have done. Once you have done your research then it is time to master the skill. At
first, try to abstain from performing in public until you feel confident enough. Some people perform
in public too early and get put off by negative criticism. However,

4. Celebrities nowadays live under painful stressed conditions at all times. The audience is curious to
know everything about their idolised star and this leads to the media invading their private lives by
trying to get the hottest gossip about them. As a result of constant attention given to them, their
personal lives get over exposed and keeping their lavish lifestyle in the public eye and sometimes
ruin the lives of the celebrities. So are famous people treated unfairly by the media? That is what I
am going to discuss here. In this essay I will argue how the media unfairly treats well know people,
talk about the incidents that happened to famous people that proves that the media does not treat
them fairly, state what if think the media should focus on other than treating famous people unfairly
and conclude by giving my own opinion regarding this matter
The media unfairly treats famous people.it is busy sticking its nose in the celebrities' business ,
they cannot find anything better to do than to cause ridicule. The media tell all these things
without considering the consequences and as a result celebrities are always getting hurt. They do
all this under freedom of speech. Famous people are normal people like us. They work to
entertain us so why should the media interfere into their private lives? The media unfairly treats
well know people by exposing their secret lives just to sell and make more profit and bring
popularity for themselves, which as a result causes a

Andrew was born at Bangkok, Thailand. At the time he told me that, I became so interest to know
about the culture, and all the differences between there and here. The most interesting thing about
Andrew is that he has already lived in few different places and knows a lot of different cultures.
He lived there in Bangkok until his six years old, and he had a good life there. He was used to
live in a property where his family was the only white family in the whole building, what for me, I
think it would be kind of scary, but according to him, it was kind of normal for him and his
parents. His dad was used to work for a company back in Bangkok that when Andrew was six, the
company changed place to Arizona, United States. With six years, he had already challenged the
difficulties of change home to another country, and especially the big change of culture.
Andrew was lucky to move when he was only six, because whenever you have more then ten years

6. Common Characteristics Of Famous Celebrities
7 Common Characteristics Famous Celebrities Have Celebrities come and go. They can either
stay for a couple of years but some fail to carve a niche in the entertainment industry and remain a
starlet. Some are successful and become iconic in the music scene, television and movies. You
might be wondering why some of them have disappeared in the industry. If you observe their
stellar status, the luckiest are those who share common characteristics that made them rich and
famous. Take a peek at the 7 common characteristics famous celebrities have in common. Find out
if you have any of these traits that can be helpful in your chosen profession. 1.Strong
determination and confidence. Celebrities are confident and determined to pursue their goal no
matter what happens. They are the kind of people who do not care about what others say when
they pose nude in a men's magazine or wear a bizarre outfit. Getting out of poverty and to become
famous are two things that prodded them to try their luck in Hollywood hoping that they could find
the right people to help them in their budding career. 2.Their work ethic is infectious. Actors and

They have a high emotional quotient. Although beauty and talent are important things to
consider when discovering a new talent, movie directors and producers would prefer actors with
a good work attitude. Celebrities who are acting like divas and become swellheaded will most
likely to lose their chance of getting the right break because their attitude can cause a lot of
problems during location shooting. High EQ celebrities come to work before call time and they
do not cause glitches or delay at work. They can mingle with anyone in the set from the director to
the janitor. They can laugh at their own mistakes and can exchange jokes with their fellow workers
even if they have been sleepless for several nights. Most of all, they welcome strangers and mobbing

7. Are Famous People Treated Unfairly By The Media?
Are famous person treated unfairly by the media? Should they be given more privacy, or is the price
of their fame an invasion into their private lives?
We live in an era where every other person wants to be famous popular etc. They are so excited
about letting the world know about their existence that they'll do anything to be popular, they want
their pictures on the TV, they want to give autographs to little kids and become their role models.
Most people will literally do anything to get the media's attention in any way.
What these people don't realize is that the media here can be a reason for their popularity as well
as their downfall. Once a normal person gets on the top, any wrong move can become a controversy
on the media and from being famous they'll straight away got to being flop.
The media sometimes makes a small thing into a big fuss which is the worst thing about them. They
do not care about a celebrity's privacy they just want breaking news or any sort of news for their
respective channel without the concern of the celebrity or about they'll feel about the news. And if
the famous person blames the media for their downfall or if they say even something the media will
again make a fuss about it. But before a person becomes famous they need to know that their privacy
will be invaded but as a normal person I would say...show more content...

Can you imagine what our society would be like without celebrities? Celebrities are a big factor
that help shape today's world. We turn on the television, read articles on the internet, books, and
even magazines which inform us what a celebrity was wearing when they walked the red carpet.
The simple fact is that celebrities are highly profiled in the media. We follow their everyday life,
struggles, and moments of sadness they may encounter. Let's face it, the information we discover
about these celebrities causes us to take into consideration their life of glamour, which can ultimately
lead to seeing these people as role models. In the article, "The Dangers of Celebrities," John

If people see that celebrities are luxurious and popular, many people will try and imitate that celebrity
's life style. This will eventually lead to a life style that that certain person can't afford. By obtaining
this near impossible lifestyle, in their eyes it is the may be the only way they can feel good about
themselves. Though there is constant negative impact by celebrities, one in particular is the personal
target, self–esteem, and that usually gets to some people since it's hard to be like someone that is
rich, flawless and beautiful. Therefore celebrities are dangerous role models to teenagers. Celebrities
can affect young teens by reeling them into their gossip and drama, causing these teens to waste
their time investigating useless controversial information and issues. There is one major difference
between glancing at what is going on with a celebrity on the front of a magazines, rather than
flipping through every page, looking into it and examining them to read about what is happening in
that celebrities life. It wouldn't hurt to catch something on the TV about a certain celebrity, but when
one is just constantly watching E! and TMZ all the time, that may be problematic to that person
watching it all the time. Obtaining too much gossip from any possible source of media can be
affective. Deborah King reports that, "If

Should celebrities have their right to privacy? Before newspapers, television, and the internet,
ordinary people were not exposed to endless stories about celebrities. Today however, we are
bombarded with information about who is dating whom, where they eat, and what they wear from
magazines such as People, Entertainment Weekly, and Star. Also, most ordinary people respect the
rights of others to a private life. However, some people are just obsessed to get information out of
celebrities. They want to know everything about them and have a desire for more information.

The article "The Right to Privacy" became the foundation of privacy tort law in America. For
example, there are laws in some states that bar the press from recording private conversations and
then the police began wiretapping telephones ("At Issue: Privacy and the Press"). Beginning in 1905,
the Georgia Supreme Court in Pavesich v. New England Life Insurance Company became the first
court to recognize that a common law right of privacy exists in the state. That has used an
unauthorized photograph of the plaintiff Paolo Pavesich and attributed statements to him that he did
not make. In 1920 The American Civil Liberties Union is dedicated to protecting First Amendment
rights and rights to equal protection under the law, due process, and privacy. The European
Convention on Human Rights states that all people have a "right to respect for private and family
life, his home and his correspondence in 1950. Also on December 18, 1967, the U.S Supreme Court
in Katz v. U.S ruled that wiretaps must have court approval, even in places open to the public, such
as a public telephone booth (Right of Privacy Timeline).
Next, Congress passes the Privacy Act of 1974 to protect the privacy of citizens by limiting the
government's authority to collection information. Privacy Journal, a monthly newsletter devoted
exclusively to news about privacy, is founded and also the People Magazine is launched. February

What famous person would you like to have dinner with? This is probably a question everyone, at

don't have the necessary social standard or that person is probably already deceased, but
imagination has no boundaries and, if you're really good at it you can come very close to the real
thing. Thus, this being said, if i could meet three famous persons they would probably be Mitch

Role models in the media are also essential for young people. These are idols, actors, athletes,
authors, politicians, revolutionaries or any other person who is known because of their fame.
Media role models have a high influence over young people because they are often placed on a
pedestal, and worshipped like gods. It is important for youth to be wary of negative media role
models because they may glamorize truly wrong values. An example of this is seen if we look at
Paris Hilton. She lives a fascinating and alluring lifestyle, yet was convicted for driving under the
influence of alcohol. Because of her, many other young girls may believe that drinking and driving
is okay, or even cool. Role models in the media are important because of the widespread effect they
have on youth all over the world.
The influence that role models have over young people is vast and great. Role models can affect a
young person's beliefs, or possibly change their entire outlook on life. Young people may want to
imitate the desirable traits they see in role models. Role models can also have an effect on one's

Negatively, he has contributed to the laziness of people. Now, with a click of a button, you can

Celebrities and ordinary people are identified in different categories. Celebrities are the elite or ones
who have a prodigious influence on the public. Famous people range from artist all the way down to
politicians. Ordinary people are common citizens of the world. Conventionally, this refers to one
who conducts a rudimentary life with no authentic exposure to spotlight attention. This may
additionally mean ordinary people have not accomplished as much as a celebrity. Although
celebrities and ordinary people hold different designations and lives, they are not much different
from one another. Sure enough, celebrities and regular people are disunited by an abundance of
things. Of the many things many things, the more conspicuous are lifestyle, privacy, and wealth,
nevertheless, it is those very qualities that make famous people and mundane people homogeneous.
Celebrities and ordinary people both have kindred lifestyles. Celebrities carry out relationships just

19. Essay about The Life of Celebrities
There are many advantages and disadvantages to a celebrity life. Some of the advantages that I will
evince later on in the essay are: money, popularity, good press in magazines; however, some of the
disadvantages that I, too, will evince later on are: privacy intrusions, harassment and childrens'
privacy (children of the celebrities). This essay will also discuss the impact this has on us and will
debate the luscious lives of celebrities – or, some may argue, the cruel, callous life of a celebrity.
There are many advantages of being a celebrity – we all know that – some of these are: the money,

Let us not prevaricate, celebrity culture affects us all. Whether we aspire to them or loath them: they
will have an impact on us.
Psychologists say some people aspire towards celebrities because they are made icons by the media
around us. But some of us do not aspire – not even close –we think of them as futile flibbertigibbets
and wish draconian punishments on them.
Furthermore, some people even put food on their table through celebrity culture. The most
well–known form of this is the paparazzi, who try to catch celebrities doing wacky, weird and
