Greeting
This is just to inform you that Communication is an effective way to establish a smooth
workflow and enhance productivity as such we are reminding everyone to adhere to
some of our protocols for your guidance whenever you have a concern that will require
administrative approval or sanction.
Our Nursing Service Office (NSO) is here to assist you in every way we can. Below please
find the following:
1) NO staff Nurse, head nurses or supervisors will be allowed to go to any
department head without prior notification with our NSO office
2) Any task or concerns addressed to any staff by any department heads must
course through our NSO.
3) Some concerns are easily addressed locally and internally by our NSO so will not
require our staff to proceed to other department heads.
2. 4) Any staff conflict must be for the immediate superior or supervisor who will try
to resolve the issue. If and when the issue cannot be resolved, only then will the
matter be brought to the higher level manager for intervention.
5) Any doubts and issues related to work must be verified with the personnel
concern. Rumor mongering/ back biting is not an adopted policy so it must not
ensue in our organization as this may create further conflict.

Note: Channeling of communication is the same for our hierarchy of command to be practiced
by all our professional staff nurses in the clinical and administrative arena. The Nursing
Director has the option to make an exception to the guidelines whenever it is deemed
necessary for the benefit of our workflow.
