Identify the similarities and dissimilarities in the quality assurance practices in USA, UK and Australia?<br />In short answer, USA, UK, and Australia are using different systems of quality assurance in higher education. But all are essentially doing external quality monitoring.<br />From my reading I notice these differences as follow:<br />USA: QA done through accreditation process by EQM method by five steps:<br />Self study, peer review, site visit, Action by accrediting organization, ongoing external review.<br />UK: in United kingdom QA done by Instituntional audit and subject review, the audit team express judgments as broad confident or limit confident.<br />Australia: QA done by Universities and higher education institutions by self-accrediting bodies.
