1. Group of policies to directly support: Organizing Techfest Day;
Communication and connection of startup innovation ecosystem; Supporting in
establishing innovation projects/enterprises; Development of material and
technical foundations; Direct supporting for innovation enterprises; Supporting
startups to participate in startup innovation competitions.
2. Group of policies to support enterprises in technological innovation:
Supporting for technology transfer, purchase of equipment for technological
innovation; Supporting research and create technology; Supporting for standard
operations, measurement, quality.
3. Group of policies to support intellectual property development: Supporting
research and create intellectual property; Supporting registration of protection,

DISSC has been arranged building 58
Nguyen Chi Thanh street with a total
acreage of: .....m2 to serve startup Software Park No. 2 with acreage
more than 71,000 m2, of which,
Innovation Space is 21,800 m2.

12. In 2022, Da Nang city received award of "Attractive City for Startup Innovation" for the
second time, honored and awarded by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association.

13. In 2022, Da Nang
also piloted the
assessment of the
local innovation
index. The results
placed Da Nang in
the second position
among the 22
participating
localities,
following Hanoi.

14. In 2023, Da Nang was honored as a locality "Proactively implementing
the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital transformation."

15. - The startup innovation ecosystem has been formed and developed, but
the competitiveness is not high. There are no large corporations
participating in supporting and investing;
- Universities still have a significant gap in fostering innovation, resulting
in a limited number of startups originating from academic institutions;
- The technical infrastructure is still incomplete and lacking;
- Human resources to support startup innovation ecosystem is limited, the
Danang startup innovation support center has just been established, so
experience, infrastructure, and human resources are still incompleted;
- Financial resources (both public and private sectors) for startup
innovation ecosystem are still very modest. Insufficient legal corridor;
- Limited experience, knowledge and skills.
