PROJECT 2 – BUILT ENVIRONMENT : BETTER TOWN OF THE FUTURE
20% Individual work + 20% Group work
Presentation Part A (Individual) : 6th November 2014
Presentation Part B ( Group ) : 4th December 2014
3. Part A : (Individual 20%) – Submission Date and Presentation : 6th November 2014
4. Part B : (Group 20%) – Submission Date and Presentation : 4th December 2014
Part A : A4 report (Individual 20%) – Submission Date: 6th November 2014
Part A : Video Presentation – Submission Date: 6th November 2014
g. Leaders of each tutorial group should collect all of the video on 5th November and prepare it for
the presentation.
Part B : The Model – Presentation & Submission – 4th December 2014
a. The size of the model should not exceed A2 size board as the base. The height should not
Exceed 600mm. There is no minimum size.
b. Students are free to choose any materials to make the model, however you can consider to use
any recyclable materials integrated in your model such as straws, metal wire etc. You may have
different colours in your model as for certain reason i.e as identification of different zoning and
functions etc. Do get advices from your respective tutor regarding the scale, colour and materials
for the model. However, students are encouraged to look for inspiration first prior to build up the
model.
c. Please prepare a casing for the model for storage purposes and safety during construction.
d. Please label your model with your group member’s name, lecturer’s name, batch and Taylor’s
University logo (Digitally prepared)
e. You are given 5 minutes to give a verbal presentation.
f. Please document the process, the final product and the presentation session and upload it in
your E-portfolio.
