10. Select the proposal that you believe is the best in terms of its
goals and objectives. Explain what caused you to select that
particular proposal and why you did not select the others.
The proposal that I chose and I believe is the best in terms of its
goals and objectives is the village mall proposal. The reason
why I chose this proposal is because it has a very innovative
idea. The proposal seeks funds to help the organization carry
out CPR training to employees and institutions with regards to
cardiovascular disease. The idea of taking these skills to the
employees in organizations is very brilliant since these arrests
can take place in any place and it has been over the years
caused so many deaths. Another reason is because the purpose
of the proposal is also clearly explained and understood. This is
one of the most critical aspects to be included in a grant
proposal. In addition to understanding the purpose of the
proposal, the writer of this proposal understood and
demonstrated a compelling sense of purpose for their
organization. In this proposal, the want for the proposed
actions is plainly recognized with data. The most important
ideas are also emphasized and repeated in a number of places.
This proposal also clearly addresses all the main areas
addressed in the regulations and the guidelines.
11. The reason why I did not choose the rest of the grant proposals
is because I feel that they speak so much about their authors.
They do not demonstrate a flawless example of writing from the
authors. Their prose is not articulate, concise and clear. I also
think and feel that the subjects in these other two proposals
were not adequately researched. The writers have not
demonstrated an extensive familiarity with the subjects of the
proposals. The objectives of these proposals are not provided in
details. The collaboration is not also clearly demonstrated. The
literature reviews of the proposals are not thoughtful and up to
date. The objectives of the proposals are also not working
towards goals that are long term. The proposals do not have
preliminary data to support the viability of the research
proposal. The proposals also do not fill the crucial gaps in
knowledge of certain areas.

Dear Sir,
With great inclination, I write this letter to invite to invite you
to one of the biggest and most productive community forum.
The forum will be held on the 28th February, 2016, 10.00 am at
the community hall.
The community forum is organized by my organization whose
main aim is to lay focus on the needs of the community and
come up with effective ways of meeting all these needs. The
organization aims at looking at the various needs and the
problems that are facing the community, prioritizing them and
coming up with ways to address the issues one by one by the
order of their priorities. The forum is a great deal since we want
to seek the participation of all the parties that are involved in
community including the individual society members to raise
the various issues that are affecting the, the administration of
the community as well as community groups like yourselves.
This will help us know how much funds we will need and help
us along with our grant process.
With your good reputation, as one of the well organized and
managed groups in the community, we will especially need your
help and advice on how to organize the group and o the
organizational leadership. Advice will be needed on areas such
as the best organizational structure, organizational culture and
the various management structures that may be needed within
the organization. From the local community we will be seeking
details such as the major issues that they need to be addressed
in the community and we will also take feedbacks on the ways
that they think will be best in handling these issues. Apart from
the advice on the organizational leadership, your sincere
contribution will also be needed in the community issues.
Among the people attending the meeting includes the state
senator, educational leaders in the community, criminal justice
officials, professionals in the social work department, the
