2. Area of Need
• Patients often have complaints about their
TROM after surgery
• Quick fitting after surgery
• Time consuming

3. Proposal
• Fit and educate patients on their TROM brace
during pre-operative appointments

4. Strengths
• Better fit initially
• Relatively easy to implement
• Potentially less discomfort
• Less movement of patients knee immediately
post-operatively

5. Weaknesses
• Time during clinic
• Post-operative dressing may alter fit

6. Opportunities
• During Pre-operative appointments
• Patients will be more educated

7. Threats
• Patients re-adjusting at home before surgery

8. Recommendations
• Taking the time in clinic to properly fit and
educate the patient on the post-operative
brace they will be receiving and likely wearing
for several months.
