Niamh O Riordan “My research explores the generative capabilities of emerging technologies in order to better understand how digital innovation enables us to realise our own creative and imaginative potential. More specifically, my work lies at the intersection of research on the nature of technology, temporality (seen as a gradual unfolding and ongoing process of becoming that is inherently associated with innovation and futurity, imagination, transformation and renewal) and the metaphysics of cyberspace (e.g. virtureality, materiality, relationality, agency, intentionality, embodiment and consciousness, transhumanism)”
