Manufacturers
The problem with including Tyent USA and Life Ionizers
on our list of top 5 water ionizers is the manufacturers of
their products are not top 5 manufacturers. You see,
Tyent USA and Life entered into the US water ionizer
marketplace around 2008 when the market was already
strong. Jupiter, Enagic, and Water for Life USA were
already well established with exclusive contracts from
the top selling and top-tier manufacturers in the world,
leaving Life and Tyent with slim pickings. Life Ionizers
ended up contracting with Biantech and Tyent with
Rettin, both from South Korea.
If either Biantech or Rettin were producing the top water
ionizers in the world, why didn’t they already have a distributor in the US? Why weren’t their models
outselling their competitors? The reason is Rettin and Biantech aren’t top manufacturers. They are middle-
of-the-road at best. Therefore, none of the models they produce should be considered top 5 water ionizers.

2. Water for Life USA has over ten years distributing water
ionizers in the US market and the very first product we sold
was the Jupiter Melody, now called the Alkaviva Isis. If you
look at the specs on this unit it doesn’t seem that impressive.
Not a lot of wattage and just 5 tiny plates. But boy can it

On virtually any water type, the Jupiter Melody can get over a

Next on our list of top 5 water ionizers is the Enagic
SD501. If you read any of the fake water ionizer review
websites, they LOVE to pick on this model. All of the
attention it gets should tell you something right there. It
gets so much attention because it has been ionizing
water well for almost fifteen years! When the SD501
first came out with 7 plates, it’s nearest competitors only
had 3 plates, maybe 5, and those basic units struggled
to get ANY ionization to happen with tough US tap
water.
The SD501 was the first water ionizer that could ionize
