Humans have no doubt become an overwhelming force on the planet even considering our relative recent evolution (in evolutionary terms). Modern humans arrived approximately 200- 300,000 years ago. Dinosaurs were in the neighborhood of 200 million years ago! So, with our relative "newness", it is fascinating to see how modern humans have taken over most of the planet. Why has the human species been able to expand in number and location to such an extent? Other animals have been around for millennia, why have humans been able to take over? If you have time, perhaps add some ideas as to what we, as humans, should consider as we live on and dominate the planet? What considerations should we be making for all over life on earth? Should we consider it at all?.
