• FROM 7/2011 UNTIL 5/2013:
• Employed as Production Engineer at Suez Oil Company
{SUCO}, jointly venture company (Owned by EGPC, and RWE DIA),
Oil and gas Production Company including onshore & offshore wells in
four fields named (Zeit Bay, Ras Budran , Ras Fanar, and DISOUQ).
• Zeit Bay Field petroleum engineer( Offshore and process
Engineer).
• FROM 5/2013 UNTIL NOW:
• Employed as Production Engineer at Disouq Field (New Gas Field) at
Kafer Shieh Area.
A Brief Description Of Zeit Bay Field :
• It consists of four platforms and onshore wells, in additional to Oil Processing
area (GOSP) & Gas plant (LPG).
• Reservoir drive mechanism mainly gas cap reservoir supported with two gas
injection wells also affected with water aquifer & gas in solution.
• Artificial lift mechanism is gas lift.

3. • Mainly wells problems are high water cut, high gas oil ratio and shortage in
gas supply for G/L wells in additional to bad CMT behind CSG
• A Brief Description Of Disouq Field :
• It's gas field consists of numbers of onshore wells , inaddition to two gas
processing plants ( CTP (Central Treatment Plant) , (TPF (Temporary Plant
Facility).
• The Disouq TPF Cluster comprises minimum well site installations where the
produced fluids will be choked to pipeline pressure below 100 barg and send
to a common carbon steel trunk line via infield lines. The gas will be sent to a
one train gas low temperature separation unit operating on the Joule-
Thomson principle. Separated condensates will be sent to hydrocarbon/water
separation, stabilization and storage units.
• Process consists of ( Separator , Glycol Tower, LTX Unit , Condensate
Stablizer Unit , Glycol Regeneration Unit , Condensate Tanks , ……)
• Control system at process and wells is DCS (Digital Computer System) .
• Duties And Responsibilities At Zeit Bay
Field:-
• Worked in OnShore Gas/Oil Separation Plant,
(CrudeDehydration/Desalting, Oil Storage and Loading Operations) as
Production Engineer at Zeit Bay field.
• Suco ( Zeit Bay field) has two processing gas&oil separation trains with
capacity of 55,000 bbls/day and (6) storage tanks with capacity of 250,000
bbls.
• Follow up the log data sheet of production facilities and correct any up-
normal data according to the specified operating data.
• Safe and efficient crude oil treating, storage and loading operations.
• Follow up the operating conditions of two RO ( Reverse Osmis) units to
supply SUCO with fresh water.
• Follow up the operating conditions of waste water treatment units in the
filed and improve the specification of drained water.
• Identifying the hazard and specifying precaution to be taken before, during
and after all tasks covered by work permits and supplementary isolation
certificates.
• Approve and sign for all hot and cold work permits and certificates for
routine or planned maintenance activities
• Control HSE system in order to comply with company standards.
• Schedule for sub-sea pipelines pigging operations (including Intelligent
Pigging). Pigging is routinely being done for oil, gas and water pipelines.
• Production wells daily monitoring, testing, trouble shooting and remedial
actions.
• Supervising of all coiled tubing operations and all wire line operations

4. *Well Integrity Monitoring:
• Implement the surveys (e.g., Well Head , Annulus , Temperature) for efficient
monitoring of well integrity.
• Supervise down hole activities as; tubing integrity & scale check (gauge
cutter), down hole gauges (bottom hole pressure, temperature & flow gauges),
perforations, water shut off, gas lift performance survey and gas lift valves
change out, tubing cleaning (chemical or mechanical) and acid stimulation
jobs.
• Follow up and close monitoring all wells performances.
• Supervision of all Coiled Tubing operations (Stimulation "15 & 28 % HCL",
N2 Lift techniques, CMT Retainer setting, CMT plugs operations & cleaning
operation {chemical & milling}) and perforation using coiled tubing.
• Review, the conducted monitoring surveys (corrosion logs, BHP surveys) /
tests to establish the well integrity status.
• Ensure well data management and individual well files.
• Wells monitoring, evaluation, reporting for integrity management.
• Perform SRT (Sub Surface Safety Valve function test) & WHM (Well Head
Maintinance for X-MASS Tree Valves).
• Experience in well testing through test package or multiphase flow meter:
implement, report and preliminary analysis for results.
• Optimizing casing pressure and amount of gas injection and point of injection
in gas lift wells.
• Supervise and coordinate for bottom-hole pressure/temperature surveys,
production logging, water shut off, perforation and all wire line operations

• Participated at construction , pre-commosioning, Commosioning and
startup of the new two gas fields ( Disouq Gas fields, CTP &RPF).

5. • Manage all commissioning and start-up activities for the process, utility and
infrastructure systems associated with the Gas Processing Plant.
• Observe site preparation, trenching, ditching, backfill and foundation
installation, along with materials used.
• Inspect the site to determine that all excavations, grading, drainage ditches,
culverts, pits, surfacing, roadways and parking areas are in accordance with
the specifications, plans and detail drawings.
• Inspect the condition of each piece of equipment and skid as it is received
and set on its designated foundation
• Monitor all mechanical completion and pre-commissioning activities
performed by the Construction Contractor including approval of punch
lists.
•Witness and verified mechanical completion and pre-commissioning
activities performed by the Construction Contractor including development
of punch lists.
•• Review Construction Contractor’s pre-commissioning plans and
procedures.
• Prepare System Commissioning Dossiers.
• Collate all commissioning and handover documentation into the relevant
system dossiers and retain records of completion status.
•Perform P&ID checks and verify as built drawings prior to handover to
Operations.
•Verify that all piping tie-in points agree with the drawings.
•Verify that the material and ANSI pressure rating of all piping, flanges,
valves, and equipment are in accordance with the drawings.
•Verify that hydrotesting (or pneumatic testing) has been successfully
completed at the required pressure.
•Verified that insulation and heat tracing, flange gaskets , insulating flange
kits, valves is installed in accordance with the specifications, plans, and
drawings.
•Prepared of Instrument Commissioning Procedures for all process, utility
and infrastructure systems associated with the Gas Processing Plant.
•Verified that all instruments and tubing are correctly tagged, labeled, and
installed at the correct location.
•Verified instrument piping and/or tubing shown on the P & ID's and the
Instrumentation Schematic Drawings for fitting type, materials, connection
sizes, and rating.
• Witness , calibrate, and test all instruments in accordance with the Pre-
commissioning Procedures, and recorded all calibrations and test data on
the checklists provided for each instrument and instrument loop.
• Supervise all construcion activties of the two new gas plants ( CTP & TPF).
• Supervise all Mechanical and Civil Work activites of the new plants (Piping ,
Wells Flow Lines Connectios , Tie In Connections , Manifold , Earthing
System , Plant Piping System).
• Supervise all gas processing system ( Separator, Glycol Tower , Glycol
Regeneration Unit , LTX Unit , Condensate Stablizer Unit , Condensate
Loading, Disposal Water Loading).
