This past spring (2012)
I traveled to Cap-
Haïtien, Haiti with my
church on a mission
trip to volunteer at
two orphanages, Ebac
Christian Academy
and Idadee.

3. EBAC CHRISTIAN
ACADEMY
Ebac is an orphanage
that provides kids with
a safe place to live,
two meals a day, and a
Christian education.

4. IDADEE
Idadee is a second
Christian orphanage in
Haiti. This orphanage
takes care of children
from the time they are
born until they are
about three years old.
Once they are three
they can start to go to
school at Eboc
Christian Academy.

5. WHAT WE DID
Every year my church asks it’s members to donate pairs of shoes
to the kids living in the orphanage, Eboc. During my trip I had
the opportunity of delivering the shoes to those kids. Also while
visiting Eboc I had the chance to play with the kids and get to
know them.

6. WHAT WE DID
One of the days we set up a camp at the orphanage Idadee for
kids in the surrounding area. There were arts and crafts, fun
games and sports, and a bible story for them to listen to through
out the day.

7. WHAT WE DID
I went on this trip during my senior year of high school over my
Easter break. Since I was there over the holiday I had the
opportunity to go to a Haitian Easter church service in the city of
Cap-Haïtien.
