3. A . Staphylococcus aureus.It is also known as the "Golden staph " commonly found in skin
and nasal cavities .It is also found in infected and cut wounds. Grows on salty and sweet foods.
The organism is known to produce a heat resistant toxin which remains in the food even after
heating. The symptoms of infection are nausea, vomitting,abdominal cramps and diorreah.
4. A. E. coli 0157:H7 is the common food borne bacterial pathogen causes bloody diarrhea . The
source of infection is by eating contaminated food, Drinking contaminated water,milk,Eating
food contaminated with animal feces.The symptoms are abdominal cramps, watery diarrhea
initially which turns bloody later on,fever and nausea .The organism can be killed by cooking the
food properly.
5. C. 2 hours . . . 40-140 degrees F.
6. Bacterial food borne infections can be contracted from B. From animal foods (meats, eggs,
dairy) and from fruits and vegetables.

The organism is known to produce a heat resistant toxin which remains in the food even after heating. The symptoms of infection are nausea, vomitting,abdominal cramps and diorreah. 4. A.
