3. Ethical Issues

Students are
responsiblefor their
work. If they use the
intellectual property
of another person
and do not cite it
then it can affect
their grades.

Instructors are
responsible to
educate students.
They can't overlook
instances of
plagiarism. These
cases are violations
of the student code
of conduct and pose
and ethical issue for
the instructor.

4. Conclusion

Students are responsible for use when
they use someone's intellectual
property.

They are able to use these
copyrighted materials for school.

They are responsible legally and
ethicially to cite the materials.

When this is not done it is a violation
of the law and the school's student
code of conduct and instructor have
to address the act according to policy.
