40 litres = 16 (40%) 24 (60%)
After 40% of salt solution is evaporated i.e. the water will gets
evaporated and the salt content remains same.
Therefore the water content decrease and becomes to 24 – 16 = 8 lit.
The ratio of salt to water content is 16 : 8 = 2 : 1

Ratio of salt to water is 2 : 1
