Continuous Improvement
The Continuous Delivery model replaces the current system of large, disruptive releases with regular monthly updates allowing for incremental and easily integrated changes. To ensure ease of integration for all clients and users, smaller updates of new features – ones that do not impact a key workflow or require re-training – will be released as part of the regular update. Larger changes that require re-training or are more complex, however, will be turned “off” in the update by default, allowing clients to continue to use the existing system for up to twelve months until they are ready to adopt them. This will ensure that updates can be adopted with minimal disruption to the client.
Over the next few months we will be working on understanding the new functionality, improvements, and fixes, and then deciding how best to manage them – communication, documentation updates, training, etc.
