BUSINESS PLAN
CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
1.1 Background
Easy Electronics’ (EE) is a growing company which is focus for the sale of electronic
devices. Easy Electronics’ establishment located in Tanjung Malim. Easy Electronics’
expects to catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base with its broad variety
technology products. The company plans to build a strong market position in the town,
due to the partners' industry experience and mild competitive climate in the area. The
company are targeting various segment in the consumer and business market, taking
advantages of modern appearance of electronic design in terms of the best quality in
affordable price to suit various segment of clients. Easy Electronics’ plan is to build a
strong market position in the town, and aims to offer its products at a competitive price
to meet the demand of the middle-to higher-income local electronic store.
1.2 Problem and Issue
• Old torch light is usually made of aluminium alloy and titanium which put an
unnecessary amount of weight to carry it.
• Aluminium alloy can serve as a static or flow of electron from the power source
to our skin, which can cause damage to torchlight and malfunction.
• Need to hold it every time use and can’t be attached part of wall while using it.
• Does not have water resistance, even a slight exposure for some amount of water
can cause static and damage the torch light.
1.3 Objectives
Magnetic Torch Light (MTL) is a start-up of innovation a torch light to retail
establishment located in Tanjung Malim. It is equally owned and managed by its five
partners. Mr.Puvillan who has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and
management, and was vice president of marketing. Mr. Aiman and Mr. Qaff experience
in electronic engineering. Mr. Amirul Fields brings experience in the area of finance
and administration, and Mr. Nazmi experts and experience in mechanical engineering
drawing and mechanical parts. The company intends to hire two full-time workers to
handle customer service and day to day operations.
Magnetic Torch Light (MTL) is design to ease people life especially to man or
women who likes to keep their torch light in their car, garage or their house. The
magnetic torch light is different from the ordinary torch light that we usually buy in a
store, the different of the magnetic torch light is that it can be attached to any iron
materials or surface. For an example, if a car in broke-down in the middle of the road in
a quite dark places, they want to look the engine but at the same time they need to hold
the torch light, when they need to use both of their hand to hold or use a tool but at the
same time another hand need to hold the torch light would really slow down the job.
With this Magnetic Torch Light, they can simply put in at the bonnet at the top of the
car engine when they pull up the bonnet, so they don’t need to use another hand to hold
the torch light. The benefit to our client is it will easy their life when the can put it any
place that magnet can put or attached with it.
1.4 Scope
Easy Electronics’ early planning is to establish a large regular customer base, and will
therefore concentrate its business and marketing in electronic products on local
residents, which will be the dominant target market around Tanjong Malim. This will
establish a healthy, consistent revenue base to ensure stability of the business.
1.5 Target User
The target sales of this product are general to all ages except children, more suitable to
any man or a housewife who like to use it to facilitate user life and help them to work
efficiently. For mechanic, they need light to reach the dark part in the engine bay using
these magnetic torch light will them to se. For the housewife, they can use it whenever
blackout happen in their house. Another example is when a man wants to repair their
sink pipe or any use which involve dark area which have no light surrounding, they can
use this Multi Torch Light to help them enlighten their work.
CHAPTER 2: LITERATURE REVIEW
2.1 Striker Concepts
The Striker Concept is an e-commerce sites which produce designing and distributing
the most innovative and useful consumer products since 2005. Researched, designed
and tested by professionals, Striker products provide users with functional, innovative
solutions. The team are mostly are engineered for reliability and performance in
demanding work environments. The mission is to create unique and useful products,
that solve a problem for the end user.

As were shown about, the website contains a row of different menus such as Home
Products, Shop, Company, and last but least Contact. There were also provide link to
their social media like Twitter, Facebook, Youtube , and Instagram. User can also create
their own account for the website so they can select which item users want to put in the
cart, and they can purchase more than one item at a time. Search box can also be seen
from the image, this will ease user to search the item that they required.

Each item was well detailed in the description, and example of item function were
described in an image, if the user find reading description a nuisance, they also provide
a short video content which explain about the item. At the top left were given a shortcut
button for buying process.
2.1 Comparison amongst the sites
Striker Concepts Easy Electronic
-The website has search box form. -Doesn’t have search box form.
-The website has many online payments for
transaction methods.
-Use online banking transfer for transaction
methods.
Chapter 3: The Website
3.1 Introduction to Our Website
Easy Electronics’ website is a complete online shop for our company customer to buy our
product. It has been developed on the basis research carried out by our staff for the benefit of
our company customer or client.
Building on the experience and feedback gathered over the month, this site provide all
functionality that can make our customer buy our product online. This site also have additional
features such as:
• Subscribe Function
• Feedback Function
• Online shop
This manual will explains the many ways in which to use the site in order to get our company
product. For all further questions, please get in touch with the Easy Electronics’ team – the
questions you can sent in our website.
3.2 Subscribe Function

In our home interface have many image and text that we use. This image and text we use for
show and describe about our product.
Our home interface have header and footer. In header have Home, About Us, Support, Buy
Now and Cart button.

Button Function
HOME When user click on this button, user will see a home interface.
ABOUT US
When user click on this button, user will go to about our company
interface
SUPPORT When user click on this button, user will go to support interface
BUY NOW
When user click on this button, user will go to list our product interface
and user can buy at there
CART
When user click on this button, user will go to cart interface and user can
see how many item that they already want to buy.

In this footer have subscribe function in form shape. User only have to enter their name and
email address in that form. After that, user must click subscribe now button. This function also
have in About Us interface This footer and header will appear in every interface in this website
except Secure Checkout interface.
3.3 Feedback Function

Under Support Tab, have function that user or our customer sent feedback about our product
by using form that display in image above. By using this form also, user can ask anything about
our product. User must enter their name, email address and message. After that click Send
button.
3.4 Online Shop

This is main function that causes our company to build this website which is online shop. Our
customer can use this function from this website to buy our product online. In this interface,
user will see list our product based on showing image and also user can see their price under
that product.

interface will show.

In this interface, user can see more picture our product and detail about that product. If user
agree to buy, user can enter how many quantity they want and they must click on Add To Cart
button. After that, user must click on Cart button that have header.

Click on View Cart button to see cart interface.

In this interface, user will see list all product they want to buy. This interface also will show
quantity and total price. User also can remove the product they do not want to buy. After user
satisfied, they must click on Checkout button and new interface will pop up.

For this interface, user must fill in the blank that form require to proceed buy that product.
Finally, this interface will pop up that show you have succeed place on order.

Chapter 4: The Product
4.1 Introduction about product
Magnetic Torch Light (MTL) is design to easy a people life especially to a man who love to
keep this MTL in their car or garage. The magnetic torch light is not like a normal torch light
that we by in a store, the different of magnetic torch light example like a car when our car in
brake-down in road and want to look the engine but we need to hold the torch light, when we
need to use our both hand to hold or use a tool but another hand need to hold the torch light but
for magnetic torch light we case put in at the bonnet at the top of the car engine when we pull
in up so we don’t need to use a another hand to hold the torch light. The benefit to our client is
it will easy their life when the can put it any place that magnet can put or attached with it.
Another specification is below:
4.1.1 Light Output
Light output, reported in lumens, is determined by the total amount of light coming
out-the-front (OTF) of the flashlight, which is related to the LED’s efficiency and how
much power it uses.
MTL using 500+ Lumens which is typical output of a ultra-high output LED flashlight.
4.1.2 Beam Intensity
Peak beam intensity, reported in candela, represents brightness as perceived by the
human eye and is related to how the beam is focused by the optical system (typically a
reflector, lens, or optic). Our perception of brightness is non-linear, and for a light to
appear twice as bright as another, its beam intensity has to be four times that of the other
light
MTL have 2,000-25,000 candela which is typical intensity of an LED flashlight.
4.1.3 Beam Pattern (Candela/Lumen Ratio)
Beam pattern describes the relationship between light output and beam intensity. Tight
beams are great for illuminating distant objects, but a bright hotspot can be blinding
when used indoors, so it’s important to pick a flashlight with the right type of beam.
MTL have >100 cd/lm which is deep smooth reflectors or total internal reflection (TIR)
optics produce spot beams that are optimized for outdoor use.
4.1.4 Runtime
Runtime depends on the capacity of the battery used, as well as additional factors such
as whether power saving designs are used.
MTL can use about a one hour because capacitors do not store as much energy as
batteries, so the 5.11 Tactical PC3.300 has a peak runtime of 13 minutes, with an option
of 45 minutes from a lower output.
4.1.5 Power Source
Flashlight performance depends not only on the LED, but also the battery. Picking the
right battery type not only provides better performance, but can also reduce the cost of
operating your flashlight. Battery performance varies widely, and many are
rechargeable.
MTL using AAA batteries because this type of battery cheap and can be found
anywhere, making them the battery of choice for general-purpose flashlights.
4.1.6 Size and Weight
MTL are mid-size which is 6” – 10”. MTL can carried in a belt holster, many of these
lights offer both a head and tail switch.
4.1.7 Lens/ Window Material
MTL using plastic for it lens. Plastic can prone to scratches, which is can reduce output
and introduce artefacts.
4.1.8 Body Material
MTL using polymer material to be its body. This is because polymer are lightweight
and preferable for cold weather. Polymer also is light and durable.

CHAPTER 5 : CONCLUSION
5.1 Strength
Easy Electronics’ product are focus on satisfying the demand of target audience need.
The price range were slight lower than the competitive market sales so customer will
see us a lot more concern to the user need compare to other store.
5.2 Limitations
The products that can be produce in the company is still limited since Easy Electronics’
still a growing company and only have a single branch in Tanjong Malim.
5.3 Future Works
For future planning, Easy Electronics’ will focus on expanding branches around Perak
state. We will also do an informal interview around Tanjong Malim to make an analysis
about their need regarding electronic product. With this Easy Electronics’ can meets the
needs of our customer so that the company can make new innovative electronic products
that will ease the customer.
5.4 Conclusion
From the report can be conclude that Easy Electronics’ Multi Torch Light is the product
that most meet customer demand around Tanjong Malim.

  • 2. CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION 1.1 Background Easy Electronics’ (EE) is a growing company which is focus for the sale of electronic devices. Easy Electronics’ establishment located in Tanjung Malim. Easy Electronics’ expects to catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base with its broad variety technology products. The company plans to build a strong market position in the town, due to the partners' industry experience and mild competitive climate in the area. The company are targeting various segment in the consumer and business market, taking advantages of modern appearance of electronic design in terms of the best quality in affordable price to suit various segment of clients. Easy Electronics’ plan is to build a strong market position in the town, and aims to offer its products at a competitive price to meet the demand of the middle-to higher-income local electronic store. 1.2 Problem and Issue • Old torch light is usually made of aluminium alloy and titanium which put an unnecessary amount of weight to carry it. • Aluminium alloy can serve as a static or flow of electron from the power source to our skin, which can cause damage to torchlight and malfunction. • Need to hold it every time use and can’t be attached part of wall while using it.
  • 3. • Does not have water resistance, even a slight exposure for some amount of water can cause static and damage the torch light. 1.3 Objectives Magnetic Torch Light (MTL) is a start-up of innovation a torch light to retail establishment located in Tanjung Malim. It is equally owned and managed by its five partners. Mr.Puvillan who has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and management, and was vice president of marketing. Mr. Aiman and Mr. Qaff experience in electronic engineering. Mr. Amirul Fields brings experience in the area of finance and administration, and Mr. Nazmi experts and experience in mechanical engineering drawing and mechanical parts. The company intends to hire two full-time workers to handle customer service and day to day operations. Magnetic Torch Light (MTL) is design to ease people life especially to man or women who likes to keep their torch light in their car, garage or their house. The magnetic torch light is different from the ordinary torch light that we usually buy in a store, the different of the magnetic torch light is that it can be attached to any iron materials or surface. For an example, if a car in broke-down in the middle of the road in a quite dark places, they want to look the engine but at the same time they need to hold the torch light, when they need to use both of their hand to hold or use a tool but at the same time another hand need to hold the torch light would really slow down the job. With this Magnetic Torch Light, they can simply put in at the bonnet at the top of the car engine when they pull up the bonnet, so they don’t need to use another hand to hold the torch light. The benefit to our client is it will easy their life when the can put it any place that magnet can put or attached with it.
  • 4. 1.4 Scope Easy Electronics’ early planning is to establish a large regular customer base, and will therefore concentrate its business and marketing in electronic products on local residents, which will be the dominant target market around Tanjong Malim. This will establish a healthy, consistent revenue base to ensure stability of the business. 1.5 Target User The target sales of this product are general to all ages except children, more suitable to any man or a housewife who like to use it to facilitate user life and help them to work efficiently. For mechanic, they need light to reach the dark part in the engine bay using these magnetic torch light will them to se. For the housewife, they can use it whenever blackout happen in their house. Another example is when a man wants to repair their sink pipe or any use which involve dark area which have no light surrounding, they can use this Multi Torch Light to help them enlighten their work.

CHAPTER 2: LITERATURE REVIEW 2.1 Striker Concepts The Striker Concept is an e-commerce sites which produce designing and distributing the most innovative and useful consumer products since 2005. Researched, designed and tested by professionals, Striker products provide users with functional, innovative solutions. The team are mostly are engineered for reliability and performance in demanding work environments. The mission is to create unique and useful products, that solve a problem for the end user. User can also create their own account for the website so they can select which item users want to put in the cart, and they can purchase more than one item at a time. Search box can also be seen from the image, this will ease user to search the item that they required. Figure 1.1: Item Description

Each item was well detailed in the description, and example of item function were described in an image, if the user find reading description a nuisance, they also provide a short video content which explain about the item. At the top left were given a shortcut button for buying process. 2.1 Comparison amongst the sites Striker Concepts Easy Electronic -The website has search box form. -Doesn’t have search box form. -The website has many online payments for transaction methods. -Use online banking transfer for transaction methods.
  • 8. Chapter 3: The Website 3.1 Introduction to Our Website Easy Electronics’ website is a complete online shop for our company customer to buy our product. It has been developed on the basis research carried out by our staff for the benefit of our company customer or client. Building on the experience and feedback gathered over the month, this site provide all functionality that can make our customer buy our product online. This site also have additional features such as: • Subscribe Function • Feedback Function • Online shop This manual will explains the many ways in which to use the site in order to get our company product. For all further questions, please get in touch with the Easy Electronics’ team – the questions you can sent in our website.
  • 9. 3.2 Subscribe Function Image 3.1 Home Interface In our home interface have many image and text that we use. This image and text we use for show and describe about our product. Our home interface have header and footer. In header have Home, About Us, Support, Buy Now and Cart button.

ABOUT US When user click on this button, user will go to about our company interface SUPPORT When user click on this button, user will go to support interface BUY NOW When user click on this button, user will go to list our product interface and user can buy at there CART When user click on this button, user will go to cart interface and user can see how many item that they already want to buy. After that, user must click subscribe now button. This function also have in About Us interface This footer and header will appear in every interface in this website except Secure Checkout interface. 3.3 Feedback Function Image 3.4 Form that need to fill by user Under Support Tab, have function that user or our customer sent feedback about our product by using form that display in image above. By using this form also, user can ask anything about our product. User must enter their name, email address and message. After that click Send button.
  • 12. 3.4 Online Shop Image 3.5 Buy Now Interface This is main function that causes our company to build this website which is online shop. Our customer can use this function from this website to buy our product online. Image 3.7 Product Interface In this interface, user can see more picture our product and detail about that product. If user agree to buy, user can enter how many quantity they want and they must click on Add To Cart button. After that, user must click on Cart button that have header.

After user satisfied, they must click on Checkout button and new interface will pop up.   • 16. Chapter 4: The Product 4.1 Introduction about product Magnetic Torch Light (MTL) is design to easy a people life especially to a man who love to keep this MTL in their car or garage. The magnetic torch light is not like a normal torch light that we by in a store, the different of magnetic torch light example like a car when our car in brake-down in road and want to look the engine but we need to hold the torch light, when we need to use our both hand to hold or use a tool but another hand need to hold the torch light but for magnetic torch light we case put in at the bonnet at the top of the car engine when we pull in up so we don’t need to use a another hand to hold the torch light. The benefit to our client is it will easy their life when the can put it any place that magnet can put or attached with it. Another specification is below: 4.1.1 Light Output Light output, reported in lumens, is determined by the total amount of light coming out-the-front (OTF) of the flashlight, which is related to the LED’s efficiency and how much power it uses. MTL using 500+ Lumens which is typical output of a ultra-high output LED flashlight. 4.1.2 Beam Intensity Peak beam intensity, reported in candela, represents brightness as perceived by the human eye and is related to how the beam is focused by the optical system (typically a reflector, lens, or optic). Our perception of brightness is non-linear, and for a light to
  • 17. appear twice as bright as another, its beam intensity has to be four times that of the other light MTL have 2,000-25,000 candela which is typical intensity of an LED flashlight. 4.1.3 Beam Pattern (Candela/Lumen Ratio) Beam pattern describes the relationship between light output and beam intensity. Tight beams are great for illuminating distant objects, but a bright hotspot can be blinding when used indoors, so it’s important to pick a flashlight with the right type of beam. MTL have >100 cd/lm which is deep smooth reflectors or total internal reflection (TIR) optics produce spot beams that are optimized for outdoor use. 4.1.4 Runtime Runtime depends on the capacity of the battery used, as well as additional factors such as whether power saving designs are used. MTL can use about a one hour because capacitors do not store as much energy as batteries, so the 5.11 Tactical PC3.300 has a peak runtime of 13 minutes, with an option of 45 minutes from a lower output. 4.1.5 Power Source Flashlight performance depends not only on the LED, but also the battery. Picking the right battery type not only provides better performance, but can also reduce the cost of operating your flashlight. Battery performance varies widely, and many are rechargeable.

MTL using AAA batteries because this type of battery cheap and can be found anywhere, making them the battery of choice for general-purpose flashlights. 4.1.6 Size and Weight MTL are mid-size which is 6” – 10”. MTL can carried in a belt holster, many of these lights offer both a head and tail switch. 4.1.7 Lens/ Window Material MTL using plastic for it lens. Plastic can prone to scratches, which is can reduce output and introduce artefacts. 4.1.8 Body Material MTL using polymer material to be its body. This is because polymer are lightweight and preferable for cold weather. Polymer also is light and durable.

  • 22. CHAPTER 5 : CONCLUSION 5.1 Strength Easy Electronics’ product are focus on satisfying the demand of target audience need. The price range were slight lower than the competitive market sales so customer will see us a lot more concern to the user need compare to other store. 5.2 Limitations The products that can be produce in the company is still limited since Easy Electronics’ still a growing company and only have a single branch in Tanjong Malim. 5.3 Future Works For future planning, Easy Electronics’ will focus on expanding branches around Perak state. We will also do an informal interview around Tanjong Malim to make an analysis about their need regarding electronic product. With this Easy Electronics’ can meets the needs of our customer so that the company can make new innovative electronic products that will ease the customer. 5.4 Conclusion From the report can be conclude that Easy Electronics’ Multi Torch Light is the product that most meet customer demand around Tanjong Malim.
