Mac Overhears Thieves Divide Stolen Corn in Graveyard.
“Well, since we didn’t get but one sacksful we’re going to have to divide it….One for you

“O Lord, Judgment day come. I better go tell the boss.
Mac Runs to Tell Boss God and Devil are Separating Souls
“I told you Judgment Day would be soon here; I told you!”
Crippled Boss Goes to Graveyard Becomes Scared and Runs
“There’s two over there by the fence- you can have the big one and I’ll take the
little one.”
“…And he’s been walking ever since.”
“Then the old Boss gave all his slaves an equal share in his kingdom that he had already

Wonder if it was a trick? I wonder if Mac planned the new Boss could walk and played on his fear to get what he and the other slaves wanted. He out smarted Boss, just like Brer Terrapin outsmarted Brer Dear in “When Brer Dear and Brer Terrapin Runned a Race.
