must be replaced by a substitute alphanumeric
string. The string of data is called a token and this
token is the used by the merchant or software to

bank account and routing numbers
also be tokenized.

been storing and sending
full account numbers
must pivot and begin utilizing ACH tokenization. For many
larger organizations, this can present a problem as they are
typically sending files to their bank to process.
