1. Activities to support positive behaviour
In strengthening the positive behaviour of students, both in class and
during break we implement control program behaviour.
We have plasticized and we have
posted a series of classroom tabs one
after the other. In the middle there is
the photo tab “Ready to learn”.
Above this there is the one that says
“Right choice”. Above it is the tab
“Model” and even higher “Excellent
behavior”. Under the tab “Ready to
learn” we have the tab “Think about
it”, below “Ms decides” and then
“Update parents”.
A wooden peg is given to each student on which the student has written
his name and has painted it the way he likes. All children‘s pegs are placed on
the tab “Ready to learn” and depending on their behavior in classroom and
break the peg moves.
It rises to the top tabs if their behaviour is good and if there are signs of
negative behavior, the clip moves down. Each child has his own pouch which
receives a small positive reward card for
positive behavior in the end of the week.
The children that at the end of the
month have collected the most cards the
peg will go into a big star that writes
“Star-behavior”. The students who
manage to be into the big star until the
end of the school year will gain a prize
for their good behavior.
2. On daily basis students who have proper
behaviour when they finish their work, can go
on the small class reading corner and read a
book from the library, something they really
like. Although the program is applied in the
classroom for some time, it has positive results
and students are trying to improve the negative
aspects of their behaviour.
