The primary goal of this course is to focus on one of the most excit-
ing areas of Interior Designing and Architectural Design with the
help of CAD - the creation of two dimensional and three dimension-
al drawings. This course is designed to meet the needs of any indi-
vidual who have interest in interior design, architecture and other
2D and 3D design fields and who want to work in interior, architec-
tural, furniture and any product design firm. The course begins with
the understanding of interior design ideas, architectural structures,
product design concepts and creation of simple 2d drawings, and
evolves into complex creation of solid 3D models.

With auto-cad, participants will learn to do 2D drafting, architectural

3D Studio Max
We will start 3D max from very basic stage and learn the following parameters:
• Understand the mechanics of 3ds Max
• Be able to create 3d models using a variety of techniques
• Work with materials to texture your models
• Understand how to light a scene
• Understand the complete features of camera
• Be able to create animations and stage a scene
• Learn how to use the Mental Ray render engine.
• Learn how to use the V-Ray render engine.
The course shall follow a highly practical approach, whereby students shall be creating
their first models directly within the first lesson. Course shall follow the standard 3D
creation process, which can be broken down into the modeling, animating, material and
lighting phases. We shall also be addressing specific issues related to mental ray rendering,
an advanced rendering engine like V-ray, which is included with 3DS Max and offers realis-
tic renders whilst being user friendly. Basics of modeling shall then be developed further
through more detailed examples. Certificates will be given upon completion of the course.
