3. SHOPPERS DRUG MART
Environment
o Red and White, the colores makes me feel that the
store is clean.
o Ceramic floors. Because it’s white and clean it feels
good.
o The ceiling is quite high, i like high ceilings
therefore it felt normal.
o The store is well lit!
o The noise is low to medium
4. o There is radio music playing in the background,
very low volume though, no specific type of music is
playing, I believe they could’ve done a better job
here.
o Warm, its -18 C outside!
o The store is crowed.
o Yes, it smelle’s like makeup and cologne.
o The register is by the exist.
5. o I had to look for security to find him! Not very
visible.
o I spent about 40 mins.
o YES!
6. Personal:
o Less than 1 min.
o No, it was more like a conversation.
o There was about 3 salespeople and 8 customers
including me.
o 20 - 25 and all Females.
o Yes!
o Not really, all of them are wearing black though.
o Yes, they blend well.

o Lady Gaga, Fame, new fragrance.
o No!
o On the walls and in aisles.
o The products are arranged by function!
o Yes, but not of everything! Only famous or new
products.
o The products that u need almost daily and top
sellers.
o Expensive skin care products.

Back of the Store.
Least expensive:
Lower than eye level on shelfs.
o Yes, the price is listed under each product.
o Yes.
9. Customers:
o Most are alone. People in groups are either friends of the
same age group or family members ( I guess!)
o Most are Females, age 17 to 30
o Yes!
o About 30 mins.
o They hold the bottle/container. Read the label. If possible
smell it.
o Most are browsing.
o About 70-80 %
10. Other
I found the store to be not very welcoming, although
I enjoyed being in it. It smelled really good and that
made the experience better. The staff was
welcoming and helpful even though I did not listen
to her advise on anything. Even after I made the
purchase, she kept answering my questions nicely.
Their training was good!
