8. Poll: US consumers sceptical about
organic
Monday, 15 April 2013
NEW YORK – A new survey of US adults has
found that well over half (59 per cent) think
that labelling products as organic is simply an
excuse to charge more. Equally, the Harris
poll, which was carried out on more than
2,000 Americans in the run up to Earth Day,
also found growing concerns among US
consumers about environmental issues.
