Calculation of Uplink and Downlink from
ARFCN
The carrier frequency of an uplink channel can be calculated using the
ARFCN(Absolute Radio Frequency Channel Number) according to the
formula:
• fuplink = Start frequency + (ARFCN - Offset)*0.2 MHz
The lower bound of a downlink band conforms to the following formula:
• fdownlink = fuplink + Band distance
