From receiving the feedback from my audience I am able to conclude that overall my product was
successful and that it is a high quality compared to the industry standard. This also informs me that
all of my products are successful as a collective which is important as it is a vital convention of real
media products that all pages of my magazine flow well together. As none of the feedback marked
the product as low quality I am confident that my product has therefore been successful in
achieving the desired effect on my target audience.
2. How would you rate the use of texts and
fonts on my front cover?

As the vast majority of the audience who answered the questionnaire rated the use of fonts and
texts as average with the small percentage rating it above average. I can then conclude that
overall the way that I had used the texts and fonts was successful and met the expectations of the
audience. This then informs me that the product has generated the desired reaction from the
target audience and is overall relatively successful. It demonstrates that I have met somewhat
met the codes and conventions of real media products as the audience were satisfied with the
product.
3. How would you rate the quality of the
photography on my front cover?

Considering the audience responses to this question I can conclude that the photography on my
front cover was successful and met with the audience expectations. As all of the responses to this
question were positive I know that my product was a good quality and that the use of the
photography was effective to generate the desired response from my target audience. This could
also suggest that the photography for the other pages of my magazine will also be of a good
quality.
4. How would you rate the use of texts and
fonts on my contents page?

The responses from this question informs me that I made an accurate choice when deciding the
fonts and texts that I should use on the contents page of my magazine. Once again these positive
results demonstrate that my product was relatively successful in engaging the audiences attention,
and making them want to read the rest of the magazine article.

photography on my contents page?

By receiving feedback that is 50/50 between the two most positive answers, I am confident that
the use of photography was completely successful and I have executed it to the expected
standard of the target audience. It illustrates that I had a good understanding of the expectations
of the audience when creating the product and therefore I was able to produce photography that
was of a high quality.
6. How would you rate the use of texts and
fonts on my main article?

As all of the feedback that I received for this question is positive, it ensures that my use of texts
and fonts was effective and possibly above what the audience was expecting from my product. As
there was no negative feedback for this question I am confident that there are no major
improvements for the main article of my magazine article that I need to immediately address in
order to meet the expectations of the audience.
7. How would you rate the quality of the
photography of my main article?

When reviewing the results for this question I was surprised that the feedback was positive as I had
slightly challenged the codes and conventions of real media products by using the image for my
main article as the background for the page rather than as a separate image, like most other
magazines. I also did not include any other images as I didn’t want to remove any of the focus from
the content of the text or the background image.
8. How would you rate the layout used for
my article?

Considering that I had included a large amount of text on the main page for my magazine article, I
was surprised that the audience thought that the use of the layout was positive. It demonstrates
that even with a large amount of text the audience was still engaged to the article and could
navigate through the information displayed.

images on my billboard advertisement?

As I had included an image on the billboard from the same photo shoot as the front cover for my
magazine, these results demonstrate that this was successful decision to make in order for the
audience to make a direct connection between my billboard advertisement and the front cover of
my magazine. Again this positive feedback ensures my that my billboard advertisement has met
with the expectations of the audience.
10. How effective is my billboard in attracting
the audiences attention?

As attracting the audiences attention is the primary function of my billboard advertisement I was
satisfied with the results as it demonstrates that my billboard was effective in attracting and
maintaining the audiences attention. From these results I can then conclude that my billboard
advertisement was successful and met the desired effect for the audience.

my radio advertisement?

Including music in my radio advertisement is a key convention of real media products and so I
aimed to include a piece of music that accurately represented the tone that I had addressed in the
content of my main article. So it was important that this was conveyed through my radio advert so
that the audience would have an understanding of what my magazine is about.
