During the recent COVID-19 outbreak, a small college was forced to shift all classes and services online. It was a rocky transition as students, faculty, and staff juggled unfamiliar technology, COVID-19, financial issues, and homeschooling children when public schools closed. While infection rates remained high, state government was pressuring the college to return to face-to- face classes. Faculty and staff revolted culminating in a ruckus virtual town hall in which employees angrily voiced the opinion that leadership had little concern for their wellbeing. Faculty Senate considered a vote of no confidence in the college president. A Leadership Model most likely to better guide the college through this difficult change would be _________. a. Ethical Leadership because the leadership must deal with the ethical issue of asking students to come to class when they could infect family b. Charismatic Leadership because the leadership must ensure that staff and faculty remain positive and enthusiastic about fact-to-face classes c. Transformative Leadership because the leadership must transform the way staff and faculty feel about coming to work d. Servant Leadership because it focuses on meeting the needs of the faculty and staff so they can meet the needs of the students.
