1. For my first font, I have picked a very simple type font because this will show the
readers that the magazine is very simple and effect. And it shows that the magazine
is very independent and strong and highlights to the readers that the magazine will
feature interesting stories that will make the magazine seem important.
For my second font, I have taken away from the simple font and have gotten an
italic font and this shows that the magazine is different and not as serious as the
one before. This font also shows that that magazine will have stories that will be
fun and interesting and will feature things that will appeal to the audience, reading
the magazine.
For my third font, I have gone away from the simple sans font and then have picked
an italic fancy font and this shows that the magazine is very unique and different
showing to the audience that the magazine is quirky. That they will feature
different stories to the ‘mainstream’ magazines but also it gives the effect that
someone has written that title on the magazine maybe showing that the
magazine’s editor was making his mark on the magazine.

2. White, Grey, Black
These colours give the magazine a sense of professionalism and gives the magazine a very sophisticated look,
this makes the magazine different from the ‘mainstream’ colour scheme and gives the magazine a very
simple but very effective look and this will draw people’s attention because they won’t know the colours of
the outfits that the artists will wear and this gives them a very serious look also by making the text and the
content be featured in black or grey it shows that all the information is as important as each other.
Dark Blue, Red and White
These colours are mostly used in music magazines because they contrast each other but also they are very
bright. This will draw the attention of the readers because the text and descriptions will be in the colours of
red and blue and this will be on the background of white, these can be swapped around but these colours
make the magazine seem fun and exciting. Therefore by using colours that follow the ‘mainstream’ it gives
the magazine a sense of belonging and that they all link together that they respect each other.
Deep Purple, Purple and Pink
These colours are different from the ‘mainstream’ magazine colours. And it makes the magazine different and
more fun and by using these colours it helps attract the reader’s and they pay more information to the text
that is being featured in the magazine. And it will contrast the images that will be featured on the front cover
and in the magazines double-spread because it will be something that will be featured throughout the whole
magazine and it will show the magazines flow and that it has a very good structure.
