What is Google Classroom?
◦ Google classroom is a Learning Management System (LMS) offered by Google for teachers. This application
provides a central location to communicate with students, ask questions, and make assignments. In an
increasingly digital world, google classroom helps facilitate online learning for digital learners today.
◦ Google Classroom helps teachers save time, keep classes organized, and improve communication with
students. In other word, google classroom is meant to help teachers manage the creation and collection of
student assignments in a paperless environment, basically leveraging the framework of Google Docs, Drive
and other Apps. Google classroom allows teachers to spend more time with their students and less time on
the paperwork, and it is now even better.

Create and manage classes
• Go to classroom.google.com and sign in.
• On the Classroom Home page, click the + symbol and then choose Create class.
• Give the class a title that is meaningful to you and your students.
• The following are optional, but may be relevant to your personal teaching situation

• Go to classroom.google.com and sign In.
• Click the classwork.
• At the top, click + Create. Choose (Assignment, Quiz Assignment, Question, Material, Re use post or topic)
• Enter the title and any instructions.
How to grades online without paper and give direct, real-time feedback
• Go to classroom.google.com and click Sign In.
• Click the class.
• At the top, click Classwork the assignment
• To open and review any file the student attached, click the thumbnail.
• (Optional) The default point value is 100.
• Next to the student's name, enter the grade
• Enter grades for any other students and give comment
