The Bemidji Axemen defeated the Green Bay Blizzard in their home game at the Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minnesota. The Axemen were led by quarterback Porterie who threw for four touchdowns and rushed for one touchdown in the victory. The Axemen defense also contributed with an interception by Robinson. The Bemidji Axemen are a second-year franchise in the Indoor Football League that plays their home games at the Sanford Center, a 6,500 seat arena that also serves as the home for Bemidji State hockey.
