Yvonne Smith
September 2015
It is my pleasure ts write a letter in support of Yvon-ne Smith. As the University of
Maryland Extension: Cecil County 4-H Youth Development Program Assistant currently tasked
to bring 4-H programming to the underserved youth population in Cecil County, MD Ihave had
the privilege to work closely with Ms. Smith over the last year.
Through our collaborative efforts to bring programming to the youth of Stony Run I have
found that Ms. Yvonne Smith to be a positive, talentod professional who is determined to make a
difference in the lives of the youth in her community. Ms. Smith sets herself apart from other
collaborators in her ability to develop a community based program from the beginning, growing
and supporting the program into a successful outreach tool. Furtherrnore Ms. Smith continually
collaborates with community parffrers to bring innovative, relevan! and refreshing programming
to her community clearly, demonstrating her abilities to assess and implement successful
prograrns.
I believe Ms. yvonne Smith to be a valuable addition to any organization which soeks to
employ determined, hardworking and skilled professionals.

3. To Whom lt May Concern,
It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for
Yvonne Smith. Yvonne contacted Cecil County Public Library about 2 years
ago requesting the library bookmobile visit her after school homework club
in the community of Stony Run.
Yvonne has proven to be a great partner with the public library. Her
enthusiasm, communication skills and professional demeanor has helped us
expand programing to many other parts of the county. Programs originally
offered in the Stony Run community are now offered to Residents County
wide. lt has been through Yvonne's leadership that the children of Stony
Run have shown great progress in educational and personal endeavors.
I believe that Yvonne would be a great asset to any organization she belongs
to.
Sincerely,
Arne Anderson
