DUTIES
• Preparation of general safety log-books in according to standards of RoA
• Examination and coaching of site personnel in OHS related issues

Standard, AZFEN and its partners’ Policies

monitoring etc. to ensure that all departments have sufficient HSE instructions to

• Provide HSE Site Induction, RTC, Hazard Identification, Working at height .
• To recommend control measures and advise on the standard of P.P.E. issued to
employees.
• Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports of all the company’s
operations.
• To notify the Director responsible for health and safety if the corrective action
agreed after any workplace inspection is not implemented by the arranged date.
Facilitate random safety evaluations/audits on the site
• Maintain records of all safety related incidents and equipment failures as
appropriate for legislative requirements
• Participate in and/or leads incident and root cause investigations (e.g., root
cause, lessons learned, developing Corrective Actions)
• To assist HSSE Manager to develop HSE procedures and technical information,
in direction of HSE Manager and relevant Department Managers
• Implement the culture that delivers excellence in HSE performance by
developing materials for coaching, training and involving the workforce
• Prepare and deliver tool box talks and safety talks on occupational health, safety
and environmental issues
• Ensure that the Emergency Response Team list is updated as per location, time
period and work activities.
• Ensure through audit and inspection that all accident and near-miss reports
• Ensure through audit and inspection that site’s self-regulation and audit
programmes are being implemented and follow-up actions are being addressed in a
timely manner
• Continuously be aware of changing site conditions such that a rapid response can
be made in the event of an accident/incident on site
• To attend to the toolbox talks
• To assist the workforce in assessment and elimination of risks

• To warn persons who do not comply with HSE instructions
